WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

I know you're not fully caught up Zakalwe, but there's some weak stuff in here.

zakalwe Wrote:At any rate, I think Novice was working on some kind of ploy here, with Q willingly or unwillingly playing the part of naive questioner.

I agree that has been known to plan claims out well in advance (and it's especially likely given he had a seer type power he could use to "prove" his innocence in some way.) However, how often do we actually see a wolf set up a question for another wolf? It's the sort of thing that people speculate on quite a bit, but I don't think it really happens all that much in practice.

zakalwe Wrote:At any rate, the "obvious" way to decode all of this is that some baddie sent this message to Q, hoping to get first Maniac and then Q mislynched. It's just a little bit too obvious, though. In short, this is deep WIFOM territory. I'm kind of tempted to just toss that glass of wine into the fireplace and lynch Maniac.

Personally, I'm tempted to drink the wine and file this under "let's revisit when we know more." I certainly don't think we should lynch anyone over this.

zakalwe Wrote:I had the above thoughts about Meiz before Injera and Thestick revealed. But the argument about asymmetry seems to apply equally to them, from what I can gather. At any rate, I think lynching one of the three neighbors is a decent idea if we generally lack scum reads. They are expendible, in terms of powers.

I think we're past the point where we're lacking scum reads. And if anyone is "expendable" at this point, shouldn't the lurkers come first?

Zakalwe ftw!

Even though I agree with Mattimeo - we had a lot of thestick evidence, but seem to have wandered off (I am still on thestick). That being said - I am very glad we didn't waste the day! I reread thestick-injera thread and didn't get *any* kind of read on it. I'll defer to the vets though - if that thread puts a good spin on all thestick has done - so be it.

Also If i am on to something concerning the sets of neighbors (one NAP one village), I'm going to do another WW13 (when I called out the convert/turnable wolf flavor with my first post) and scream "I told you so!!" a few dozen times smile

I'm getting sick of your posts, Lewwyn. I mean - i need some analysis with a big "CAHOOTS!" at the end to be convinced. Is that asking too much?

Yes.

Waterbat seems to be trying to regain thestick wagon folks. It also sounds like he's preparing his "I told you so" speech for the inevitable twist that we indeed do have a Napper among the neighbors. Of course he already knows that. Because...

CAHOOTS!

Hah - that was supposed to be a big cahoots! I do want the wagon, but it's not a strong feeling. Was based on what I said earlier - thestick's went dark day 2 after I was defending him for activity. Also felt the dozen cases people made against him were persuasive.

missed it before because I'd just woken up and was rushing to be at uni on time:
Sareln Wrote:I am a drone, and my ability is to instigate a drone riot during the night. As a result of the riot, I will be thrown in prison rendering me immune to night actions (triggerable night-kill immune)
That's identical to mine. Didn't particularly want to point out that I was a Commuter, and technically it's not a function of the drone riot itself, but a consequence of having triggered it tongue

thestick Wrote:Sareln and Mattimeo: do your abilities have a limited number of charges?
...and it's in my interest to tell a wolf how many times I can be night kill immune *how*, exactly?

Also: this does lend credence to the idea that the ability to prevent this from occurring is not entirely town aligned. So I'd be tempted to go for BRickAstley once we've dealt with thestick. Definitely not 'til after, though.

Mattimeo

Wanted to scan him anyway, that can be done with a lynch as well.

Seriously though, Jkaen and Selrahc haven't checked in.
