Yeah, this made no sense to me until I remembered that the ability was implied to have charge(s). Sareln equivocating on when he intends/intended to use the power is consistent with that in a village sense I think.

Meiz Wrote:Selrahc's reason for voting Sareln [seems a bit forced]
I've played wolf with Sareln. He isn't a bad player, despite the fact that he is a "lurker" in most games he plays. I think his revelation seemed one hell of a lot more calculated that either Qg's or TheStick's. And I think Sareln is the type of player who will be able to make a quite calculated defensive play from a bad position. I'm a lot more suspicious of a carefully orchestrated revelation than I am over scattergun information leakage or obvious set-ups/fabrications.
Of course I'm starting with the premise that at least one of the suspicious events from today leads somehow to wolves. That is a bit more shaky.
Sareln Wrote:Think about it from my perspective. I don't get night-killed anymore without a power role. So in order to draw the nightkill, I have to act like a power-role. Based on previous plays of power roles, that means I go more quiet than usual.
Sareln, you're quiet enough at the best of times that this is more or less indistinguishable from your natural play. You don't normally get nightkilled. In fact you're often one of the last people alive when you play villager, because wolves know they can use your quietness against you easily as the game wears on. This playstyle *from you* is never going to draw wolf kills. And I don't think it works as an explanation either.
If you want to draw a night kill, silence is not the answer. Play reminiscent of a power role is. I think Pindicator acted like a baner and drew a kill. There are a couple of other players I think have at least hinted of being roles in the way they act(although I'm not going to publicize my exact reads in case I'm right). Drawing wolf kills takes in game actions, or it takes a notable deviation from standard activities. I think you know this, and you are attempting to explain and justify your behaviour with lies as a defensive measure. Because you're very possibly a wolf.

This I disagree with, only direct clue to others with 'arrest' as power. I personally find wanting to hide power better than claiming freely.
But this I can agree with
Quote:Both read neutral for me, but I don't like the company that votes Sareln at the moment. Most noticeably that being Selrahc and slowcheetah. I haven't found much of any reasons to believe that either one of them would be genuinely hunting wolves.
Think mattimeo signed off.
Sareln any reads on the rest of us?

6-4-3 mattimeo.
M. does not vote sareln as defense.
1.5 hours.
qgqqqqq: which of Sareln, Mattimeo or thestick do you find most likely guilty? Vote for that person, as Jkaen is not hanging today.

I agree that his plan to use his power is what a villager would think, save it for when the live targets are fewer, and perhaps foil a NAP victory in the endgame.
He could be NAP using 'pretending to be villager' as defense though.
Sarelns last post good, but then he didn't post any more about reads on different guys. Neither did Mattimeo for that matter. Also thought Selrahcs last post had some points too.
Serdoa, if you attempted to scan Sareln or Mattimeo last night you should perhaps say so...mabye your fail was not a roleblock but a hiding drone. If you did target one of them I think that pushes the odds a bit further towards NAP.

Well, I gave away as much already when you read my post carefully, as I stated that I wanted to scan Mattimeo to find out his alignment but that this could be done with a lynch as well. And I wanted to scan him, to be exact, I did. I just didn't get a result.

bigger - can you throw down an official vote count?
I'm persuaded by Selrahc's argument but I'll be honest with you guys - I hate making the deciding vote.
Actually - Don't give an official vote count. I'm more likely to follow my gut than worry about being the one to tip the scales.
