[SIZE="4"]Tweaker version 0.2.5 is out![/SIZE]
Changes:
- Added an LBX editor (click Tools / LBX editor) [Anthony,Aureustgo,FrancoK].
When you load an LBX file with pictures, those will be shown in the
top view.
The bottom view shows the bitmaps (png gif bmp jpg)
that are in the directory of the tweaker, or one directory lower.
I have included a couple of images that you can use.
If you click "Replace" the LBX file is overwritten.
To see the effect, MoM needs to be restarted (quit & continue).
- Completed the overland map view to show everything it should.
Clicking on a tile will show what's there.
It also allows you to change the fields of the tile's contents.
- Adjusted the Catnip mod to display what is changed, which is:
1. All units get an extra half move.
2. Heroes get dedicated slots (and a couple of changes).
3. Magicians, priests, and shamen are renamed and get different abilities.
TBH, this is not what Catwalk intended, but these are ideas I found
fun to implement.
Btw, quitting MoM and continuing discards all changes.
- Added tax unrest table to Game data [Anthony].

Add combat round ds:c51c, the hero stats table for each wizard,except 5. Now its editable for human only.
I will edit.
Les bx,[9232][wizard*4] gives the table,then es:[bx+hero*0c] gives hero stat.
Add checkbox: do not use icons.
Show node's owner,or if it warped.do you know format?
Unit view:graphic id guess- index in combat.unk32 -additional life per figure,unk37(0)-lifesteal damage,unk37(1)-instant damage(like stoning).
Battlefield:1586-flying fortress.

Hi ILS,
first of all thank you for your quick developing of a tool to interact with the graphic part of the game.
I started using it to search where the pictures of the heroes are; since I had no idea I decided to open ALL .lbx
So far, no luck, I've found a lot of interesting pictures, but not the heroes pictures, anyway some file can't be opened and the Tweaker crashes.
I've checked all the files up to "M" and this is the list of the files that can't be opened:
I'll fill the list by the week end if you like.
Hope this helps.
Some pictures are duplicated (I.E. the moving blue drake is in 2 different files) don't know their use in the game.
A couple of issue:
1. Sometimes the colors are mixed up (no, not the violet used as transparent background), probably the wrong set of colors is chosen.
2. It's it difficult to understand how many pixels a picture is and how many colors put in the image we want to change. Can you add a field with XY#colors in the window?

In the map, the close button do not close the window neither gives a closer look to the map (zoom in). The only way to close the window is the standard X button.
Some tiles are not recognized (not really important).
The ? button has no help associated (again not so important).

Hero pictures are stored in portrait.lbx. Unit icons are stored in figures0-9.lbx and figure10-15.lbx.

I have to admit I hacked in the LBX editor rather quickly and didn't make it as robust as I usually try to do.
I'll fix that.
Anyway, it will work on any LBX file containing pictures, but not all of them do of course.

Implode created an LBXextract utility that extract alls pictures and sound from all LBX files.
That way, you can inspect and reuse all of them.

Actually, the unit icons are in UNIT1 and UNIT2.
The figures that make up the units in combat are in the FIGURE* files.
The wizards are duplicated lots of times in various *WIZ* files.

Almost all pictures use the standard palette that is loaded from FONTS.LBX.
However, there are a couple of special picture sequences that use a special palette.
As yet I haven't tried to figure out how to get them right.
Btw, there are six special colors. - magenta: defined to identify the transparent color.
- lightgreen: defined to identify the shadow color.
- 4 darkgreen colors: they identify the banner of the wizard

Changes:
- Fixed the failure to connect in Windows 7 that apparently
afflicted some people.
All accessible memory is searched now (with a new algorithm).
- Added a battlefield map (click Map and select Battle).
This completes the maps, since the overland map was already in [Ayu].

Note that usually either the overland map or the battle map
will be corrupted depending on whether battle is in progress or not.
- Added an experimental External AI dialog (click Tools, click External AI).
You can set a hook in the code for use in battle.
A hook will make the game stop each time an AI unit is on move.
Then you can change its tactic manually and release the hook.
- Revised the address calculator to display more information.
- Added city name of fortress at the bottom of the wizard's data [FrancoK].
