So me being a firefighter is direct proof of arsonist, right? :D
Agreed that zakalwe's villager/wolf game differences are easier to read.

acting weird? Curious. Merovech, read the first day of last game. I figure that when Tasunke starts acting completely rational and calculating is when he should be lynched. Disagree, why would he change his style as a wolf? See waterbat last game. What was the point of his self vote, joke? Didn't get it. I could easily see it as pre-planned wolf opening, since "wolf would rather lay low and not attract attention". Tasunke
No offense, but why are people voting tas and waterbat as mayors?
I somewhat agree that making a big number on being away at the beginning of the game is bit odd. I don't remember catwalk doing that in previous games. It's day 1, no one is going to except walls of texts with deep analyses.

No votes just yet, as I'll have to read through all this madness later, and hope I have a greater life expectancy than that of a mayfly.
*insert obligatory madness joke*
What do you mean by "four more hours of to go"?
I'll move my vote to thestick for his "20 questions" opening post. It feels a bit contrived. It has a lot of embedded quotes, but I'll quote parts of it here:
thestick Wrote:Hasn't 'lynching the weird people' backfired on us three games in a row?
Do Rowain and waterbat seem a bit unhinged to anyone else?
I particularly wonder where he's going with these two statements. Don't go after the weird people... by the way, these people are being weird.
If you know what I mean.

By the way, Gaspar, let me declare up front that I'm willing to lynch Novice. I actually think he makes a pretty good policy lynch for day 1.
Just saying, in case you want to go there.
If you know what I mean.

Catwalk Wrote:Managed to have a very quick read through, I'm off in a minute. I stayed up late in order to make a post at game start, but of course it was pre-planned. I have a long list of opening moves to choose from depending on game settings and alignment, so of course I chose a villager opening for this one.
Now the original post wasn't so bad, but THIS is defensive (no comment on anyone else in the game...) and having a long list of villager openings doesn't sound particularly genuine to me. Who on earth has a long list of openings in this game? This isn't chess. You are sounding like scum trying too hard to appear to be contributing.
catwalk
Waterbat and tasunke, are you two trying to get yourself lynched? and I agree with Rowain that Jkaen saying that vote #3 on tasunke is trying to force a claim is ridiculous.

@zak, are you serious or just making some back-reference vote I can't remember? (Regarding novice)

I thought both of these were jokes.

Nothing learned from the last game, eh? Yes, Tasunke might be wolf (as everyone else right now) but we discussed already last game that taking his typical behaviour as a reason to vote for him is rather dumb. I am pretty sure you were involved in that discussion Meiz, I mean, he was a neighbour, same as you.
To elaborate on this: If zak would do such a self-vote, I would vote for him, because it is not-typical behaviour. Your sentence about it maybe being a pre-planned wolf opening would apply. But with Tasunke? Really... I wouldn't have even had a second thought if he had posted a youtube-video of himself singing "I'm the big bad wolf, boohoo"...
So, would you care to explain why you - having the exact same knowledge about his behaviour than I do - are voting for him based on that?

I think it was pretty obvious that catwalk did tell that because he expected not to be able to post at all. And I guess having just one standard-starting post (a one-liner) at the end of Day 1 could very easily get you lynched.

zak, same as with Meiz, isn't it obvious that Molach meant don't go for the weird people that are always acting weird just for acting weird while he felt that Rowain and waterbat acted "weird" despite normally not acting weird. I'm not sure why you, similar to Meiz, seem not to be able to grasp the difference. Again, similar to Meiz, you played last game. We discussed the differences between "weird acting people who are always weird" and "weird acting people who normally act rational".

Jkaens comment seems to point back to last game when Tasunke claimed his role (and outed his neighbour-buddy in the process) just because he had a 2 or 3 votes. I see why he would post something like that. Though I don't like the added vote, because people who did not play in that game can't be expected to know that.
As for catwalk: I think he stated already some games ago that he has several openings.
