Well said.
I see people are hesitant to lynch Thestick over just one post. Frankly, if that remains his only post, all the more reason to lynch him. It would then double as a lurker lynch. Besides, if your first post is your best, earnest attempt to act villagery, and you immediately get pounced on for it, entering lurk mode and hoping your teammates whip up some other suspects would be a natural reaction.
Brick, can you prod Selrahc?
I have to run.

I don't like that barb at "teammates whip up some other suspects." I've been defending thestick because, largely, a lot of the criticism on him has been due to his the "20 questions" nature of his post. He didn't make posts like that before I was his neighbor, I tried to help him out out by telling him to gather his thoughts in one post so he could make sure they were consistent. And when he opens this game with a post doing that and people jump on him for it, it makes me feel like shit.

It's of course very possible that Thestick is a villager, and if so it sucks getting jumped on for your first post. In fact it sucks regardless of alignment. But it's part of the game.

Are you saying that Gaspar fabricated "a little gem of insight" (Also wtf is this BTW) as a result of having 2 extremely early votes that didn't really mean much? That he was spooked into coming after you? Or are you saying you intentionally posted what you posted in order to "trap" some unwitting wolf in your web? I mean... WTF. Catwalk I'm mainly wondering why the gem of insight came later, and what was gemmy about it (since others had made the same point already).

Of course. "All in the game" as Omar said, " novice."

Well, well, well... interesting stuff happening. Lets start with the easy thing
zakalwe
I'm flattered by the trust some put into me (at least for a brief moment...) but I feel that I am normally pretty good in reading zak and so far he reads villager to me. I'm fine with him being mayor, especially as other candidates are either starting to look scummy to me (uberfish, who apart from his one post about mayor self-votes which got me to vote for him, has not shown any really interest in helping the village imo) or are known for their crusading (Rowain) which I'd really like not to have in a mayor role, as whoever has that role should generally be able to take a step back and reevaluate.
Ok, onwards. Novice.
I didn't like his post about the mass-role-claim stuff. He lines out how good that could be just to then write about that it shouldn't be done. Why even talk about it in the first place then? It feels like a try to plant a seed so that someone else will go for it anyway.
Now he also starts to get unfair in his way of accusing thestick. I'm not opposed to a thestick lynch tbh (I don't mind that he asked questions but it really seemed forced as imo at least 2 or 3 of his 5 questions were answered in the posts he quoted) but the way novice tries to implicate him doesn't make me feel comfortable. It is Day 1, I don't see a reason to act in such a way. But - and that is the biggest gripe I have with that in the moment - it certainly doesn't make sense for a wolf to put himself in the spotlight like novice does right now. Still, I don't like his play.
Anyhow, I explained above what I don't like about thesticks post. Till he explains that a little bit at least, I'll put my vote on him as well
thestick
Though I would really like to see some more from pindicator (I still suspect him), Selrahc and some others who haven't really participated at all. Honestly, just writing 3 posts each with one sentence is not participating. I will go for a lynch the lurkers policy this game as long as there is no better target as I am really starting to get annoyed at it.

Great, another Day 1, another call for my head. I think I'm working too hard on weekends. Back, but spent an hour or so reading this thread, I need sleep to think this stuff over.
So too questions are a sign of wolfishness? Okay...
On the 'waterbat and Rowain comment': waterbat's first post, screaming that I AM A VILLAGER in all caps, stood out. Rowain roleplaying as the town drunk felt a bit off.
Minor Quote Oddities:
Qgqqqqq Wrote:No paticular rea son just posting a lot of "noise" without saying much. "I suspect Tasunke for no reason, except for this reason that I'm bringing up now."
Jkaen Wrote:Going to open with Merovech as my lynch for putting on the last vote to try and get Tansuke to role claim (which on day 1 needs about 2 votes!)
I'm starting to agree with Jkaen here.
Tasunke Wrote:I find both personality tests and meta speculation in the same 'more or less acceptable' category.
I'm not sure what to make of this comment.
Jkaen Wrote:Going now to standard day 1 reactions I guess I now shift to somebody who voted for me, Rowain seems to always find me suspicious, so I vote Meiz as he should know better
I'm tempted to call that wolfish, recognizing the usual patterns of village behavior and blending in. Then again, admitting that you recognize the pattern and still following it doesn't seem like something a wolf would do.
Mild Suspicions:
- Mattimeo, for his two posts being a quick check in followed by a metagaming post saying that 'Tasunke's role claim doesn't clear him.'
-Sareln, for voting Lewwyn for mayor and agreeing with his proposals without much explanation as to why he trusted Lewwyn so much.. Also, Sareln's Wifi post.
-Rowain, for not saying much.
Neutral Oddities:
-Gaspar starting off two posts by calling them 'lazy wolf posts.'
-Serdoa's string of posts explaining things for other people stands out for some reason.
Other Thoughts:
-I haven't been able to grasp the Injera/Gaspar show.
More people have been to Berlin than I have.
