Why the difference? Youre right, the push on Mattimeo is a sign he would be villager as well. His claim seems believable. I mostly concentrated on the early stages, where it would make most sense to try to save thestick, didn't have time to fully go through the Mattimeo bw.
It's not just the bw, Biggers posts so far have read villagerish, as has Serdoa's and novices. Mattimeo's role should become apparent as the game progresses.

Ok, Sareln was in at the key point of the Matt push as well, i think that adds up to enough small things for me to switch my vote for now

Qg can be coherent. I think he was posting in a much more articulate fashion in WW15 and elsewhere on the forum that I've seen him comment. This game though seems like a descent into incomprehensibility.
Why? I think if I was a wolf, I might well advise Qg to play up an angle of being a "weird" poster, who tend to be unlynchable while also not being expected to contribute a lot.

he also happens to be defending me cause of something t o do with my personality. Ilove you too bigger!!
however as a player...hmm the fact that stick wouldnt shift tohim coupled with some dodgyplay. 50%, and that may be generous.
sorry guys, i had two 3 hr exams today and cant keep awake. ill finish tomorrow when i dont have a self imposed pr

Qg
I think we can wait until tomorrow (realtime) when he might have access to a PC and be able to post for real. No need to press him now for difficult to read posts. But naturally if he does continue in this fashion he is in need to be lynched.
@Qg Should you happen to stumble over a PC I would like to hear whom you suspect and why. A listing of all players left garnered with comments like 50% villager and so will earn you a place highup in the air with feets dangling.

Sareln just has the 5 posts, so anlysing them should be fairly easy
Sareln Wrote:Did you know that Amtrak trains have wireless now? Will wonders never cease? (they're only what? 10 years behind the curve in this...)
Tasunke for the noose.
Lewwyn for mayor.
Opening post, with something offtopic, and voting for a very easy mislynch target with no reason given

Sure Lewwyn, let's dig.

Following Lewwyn on what seems to be a very early vote because Qg voted waterbat for mayor. Again no real reasons given
Sareln Wrote:@Tasunke, theStick
This game is starting with me on the road, so the train-wireless was a happy coincidence that allowed me to post. I thought it worth mentioning, though apparently this is an unpopular statement?

I could get behind a Mattimeo lynch. I agree w/ Uberfish and Mattimeo's original observation (I think it was Uber, might be Novice, net too flaky to check) that Tasunke claiming Vanilla Villager isn't an observation that slides the probability distribution at all.
Still thinking mayor vote is best with Lewwyn.
Jumping on non-thestick bandwagon number 1, and echoing other voters comments. Another buddy comment up to Lewwyn

Watcher is a claim that can be tested. Lynching a claimed protective role on day 1 seems folly to me. Did we manage to stumble into two power roles out of ~28 players on day 1?
Table theStick and Mattimeo, and see what Bigger flips, IMO.
Bigger
Jumping on non-thestick bandwagon number 2, again no real suspicions given for Bigger, claims we can test thesticks role (which could have given him protection for a fair few days, and maybe allowed them to buss a diffrent wolf when they got under pressure), and giving up on a Matt BW which had already long gone.

I wasn't answering his question, I read his post as a bit of confusing conversational English.
I agree though, who searches their name in the thread as a town member? Townies read through the thread hunting mafia, not search the thread to cover their asses. I can remember doing this as NAP/wolf, however.
@pindicator: heard your request. I think you know my track record - if I make a post outlining my thoughts on that many people, I'm bound to say something stupid . Is this your way of starting a mislynch train on me?
Of course, I am somewhat swayed by rowain's argument on you. I may be framing everything in terms of you as mafia. I also am overly paranoid this morning. I'll put some thoughts together after work today.

Arromir votes for thestick.
Arromir comes in on day 2 and goes "oh nice, we lynched scum, well done town". If someone's town and just helped lynch scum, this is generally where they should be feeling happy and confident in their own "good townie" status.
His next reaction is apparently to search the thread for mentions of his own name and then go "oh shit I'd better preemptively defend myself against being accused of bussing even though no one is actually voting me", and this seems weird to me. I don't see why town would react in such a paranoid and defensive fashion after having lynched scum.
Since I made the mistake of not quoting last time , here's hoping this is a bit clearer. As Injera said, I was responding to Lewwyn's post .
As for searching my name; since I stated my reason for voting thestick was his apathy toward his own defense, I did not want to follow suit in case I was getting heat for some reason. As scummy as it might sound, RL has been in the way of active participation here, but hopefully the next couple days off will give me more of a chance to post.
My top three suspects currently would be Sareln, Merovech, and uberfish, most of that based of the vote swings that happened between Mattimeo, thestick, and Bigger. That likely means that at least one, possibly two, were misguided villagers, as I doubt the whole pack would act in such an obvious manner.
I have several sheets of notes I took catching up on the thread, but considering it's almost 4:30 AM here, I'm going to wait until tomorrow before trying to organize them into coherent thoughts, as well as seeing if there are any more developments before then.
