WTF is this even supposed to mean? You ask what my case is then dismiss it before you've even read anything just because no one else is currently voting with me? banghead

uberfish Wrote:I don't think those guys moving is inherently suspicious, there are 24 players still in the game so it's not surprising that several people would be online at the same time to move. Sareln has been putting up a decent defence although I don't agree with all his conclusions (more on this in a bit) and I'm not sure why people are completely ignoring TT.

I think I'll go with Twinkletoes.

My 2nd last post I quoted Twinkletoes accusing merovech for changing his mind a lot - which he really didn't. So it may have been crafted to justify joining some other voting for merovech. And Sarelns post gave me the idea that wolves would perhaps try to not be on both wagons against Matt and Bigger. And he was on the matt wagon. Ended on thestick could mean anything, at the point he voted it looked like a done deal.

Pindicator is also suspect, I thought about him just before I saw Sarelns post voting for him and others following. So I agree with those putting pressure there.

And Sareln is still not off the hook either, his defense looks good and honest but it is precicely the defense both a mafia and villager would make in this situation.

Still wondering about Catwalk and Uberfish, the switch to Bigger came so very late that it would both look suspicious and more importantly have a good chance of failing anyway if they were mafia pushing for the mislynch. So it would only make sense as a gambit - "wolves would not be so obvious" thing.

No uberfish, I'll still go back and read your posts, which is what I am doing now.

Sareln Wrote:Rereading the actual lynch vote statements of Pindicator and Merovech, I realize now that I got the reasoning confused. Merovech moved to "pressure" Bigger from theStick with 10 minutes left on the clock. Pindicator jumped on Merovech stating "it was probably too late".

----

Here's what I don't get though. Pindicator implies that he thinks Merovech is a wolf for switching from theStick to Bigger as he votes for him. However, that only works if theStick is also a wolf, else why would Merovech have any reason to change his vote so late in the day but in an attempt to save theStick. Why not (as Merovech) stay put and possibly nab a village watcher at low risk (Merovich made his theStick vote just before the 24 hour mark of the day). Therefore Merovech shouldn't be a wolf unless theStick is also a wolf. That means that the correct play for a villager Pindicator is to stay put and ensure theStick is lynched, and then followup into Merovech on the next day. But instead Pindicator launches a last minute attempt at Merovech effectively bringing the lynch within nervous villager range - which I'm inclined to think Merovech was at this point.

----

After all that, I vote Pindicator.

I just tried to find the source of this implication rather than take Sarelns word for it as everybody else seems to have, and I found the following:

Merovech Wrote:Hmmmm. I am starting to think thestick is innocent. I would not mind pressuring Bigger today.

novice Wrote:For 2 minutes?

pindicator Wrote:Probably a little too late in the day, but Merovech

It's tempting to vote Bigger just because of all the misleading he did in the last WW game as GM, but I think he looks villagerish here

So to me here, he is voting because Marovech tried to apply pressure with 2 minutes left, not because of the switch from thestick, an event that Novice, who is now voting for Pind too I believe, also found suspicious at the time

(Yes I acknowledge that means we have somebody voting right at the end of day 1 pointlessly for somebody because they voted right at the end of day 1 pointlessly. Pindicator can defend that logic himself)

good point jkaen. Given that exchange, I can't possibly see how pindicator comes off more scummy than merovich.

Dont like the pindi wagon either.

I think novice has managed to articulate his opinions and reasons quite nicely. Why do you now believe that catwalk is more wolfish than Selrahc?

I think you missed the bigger question here Rowain. Why is Qg trying to paint Novice as inarticulate, which I equate with unreliable?
