Oh and Rowain always reads badly to me, but I really struggle to tell crusading villager apart from scum. Hence going to leave that wagon alone for now

Also, from your spreadsheet Pindicator: "stupid argument meiz (RE:injera) - I think injera is village!"

Thanks, but Meiz's argument has some validity. I had stayed up late watching Sareln start defending himself and started to think he was likely village, so I moved my vote to my next target (Ichabod, who in contrast was defending himself very poorly I thought) but was too sleepy to write up anything. When I got back to the game the next afternoon I was trying to get my thoughts out on that while catching up on an incredible amount of posts, which made the whole thing seem pretty disjointed.

Assuming he's not fake lurking, I'm getting strong village vibes from Meiz.

Just skimmed through your spreadsheet, Pindicator. Interesting read - I don't agree with all your conclusions but its good information to have. Wish I had that kind of discipline. Nothing to add, I'd like to see the three current candidates respond to allegations before I do anything to change the topic, but I felt like the amount of work involved in making that deserved acknowledgement.

I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Yeah, I didn't intend to share my notes too, but too late now. Those are all quick impressions, and tbh I overused that field (probably what has made keeping it up such a pain too). When I put the spreadsheet together I ideally just wanted to use it like a "label" in blogging, somethign to quickly identify what's going on. But I can't help but put in quick thoughts too.

Injera Wrote:Hey Pindicator, I'm working through the scraper and your spreadsheet right now, I'm curious why you agreed that TT's post 835 "was horrible".

The whole digging into Mattimeo's role thing was awful, just awful. Him and Catwalk both. Yes, you should not give anybody a free ride. But pressuring Mattimeo into revealing info that can help wolves and doesn't help the village? Just stupid

Also, why did TT believe Mattimeo initially, not believe thestick initially, but now is picking away at Mattimeo's claim? If it didn't read so blatantly like the paranoid TT we all know and love heart then I would really think he was wolf. In fact, that was a thought I had earlier - that he wasn't being as paranoid as he usually was, like he in fact very comfortable with things. But in this post he is convinced there is a wolf move onto him ... with 3 votes to his name. And there's another post where I note he's overly paranoid. That makes me think he's not scum.

I dont' like that post (besides the obvious reasons) because everything he writes is already slanted to support his conclusion. He's not writing to review, he's writing to lynch me. As he admits at the end, he has "wolf glasses" on, but this isn't digging, it's throwing dirt.

I did think this info would help the village, though. Mattimeo had an unproven role claim and two good night targets had just been hit. Knowing if he used a charge or not was minimally useful to the wolves, I can't imagine that Mattimeo didn't use one. Knowing who he did protect was no use to the wolves either, wouldn't say anything about who he'd protect next (IMO). I would rather hear Mattimeo say who he protected each night rather than make up 3 targets 5 days from now when he mysteriously still hasn't been eaten. If he can wait until later to state his targets (and is scum, note that this is still entirely hypothetical) he can "pick" targets that make him look more pro-town. I thought pros and cons of this were both small. Minimal info for wolves, little bit of information for us.

This may well be bad reasoning, but those were my thoughts about it. Pretty much the only argument given against it was "OMG SHUT UP ALREADY AND STOP HELPING SCUM". I don't have a scum read on Mattimeo, so this is not an accusation now nor was it then. Just a matter of filing it away for later use, in case we get a reason to suspect him.

But what you are asking would tell the wolves whether he's used 1 or 2 or none. I can imagine not using a power if I only have 3 charges. The wolves need to hit every night because of the number of people in the game. Technically, before last night, I think they needed 7 mislynches! So any chance to keep them on their toes is important. You want Matt to tell you whether or not he's used his charges? Yes, let's let the wolves know when its safe to not worry about anything.

I would vote for you again right now, but I'm sticking to Selrahc right now.

Let's say mattimeo told you who he blocked. How do you determine if he's legit or not?

That was an earlier post, actually. Yeah, from your perspective you're going to view that one differently. I guess the way I interpreted that was that he was going on gut feel at that point and was simply doing a reality check for his vote. Hmm, I'll take another look at it in context.

I guess I see it differently. When I was baner I rarely saved up my charges, not knowing how long I'd stay alive. Note that I didn't ask him who his target was tonight, main reason I asked yesterday was because two good targets were not protected.

Again, it'd be for later use. If he said something now (who and why) which didn't add up in 5 days, we'd have something to go on. In 5 days there is no use for us in him retro-claiming who he protected. As I said, I might be wrong about this. If you still think it makes me look scummy, little more I can do about it. Just didn't want to ignore an accusation, which to me is far more indicative of scumminess.

About wolf glasses, I don't think that's necessarily a bad approach sometimes. Throw lots of dirt on someone and see how he reacts to it. I read that particular post as Meiz testing a theory (and clearly stating so), don't see anything scummy or anti-town about it.
