I still don't think saying "bad break for the village" is scummy, and I think it's an extremely weak argument for lynching.
I actually agree with this. I still think you're fairly scummy, however.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.
1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.
2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.
3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.
4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

Agreed.
My second choice would be Ichabod, because his tone reminds me of wolfabod again. And if he's wolf day 2 is suddenly valuable.
Like I said before, I can get behind an Ichabod lynch. Not sure about Rowain at this time. He seems very combative, but that's how he has always seemed when I've lurked.

Lewwyn Wrote:I both agree and disagree with this. I agree its weird not to use the more harmful restriction on Novice. But I disagree that Meiz was "starting to get heat". I thought of him as pretty clean before the PR. Novice also thought Meiz was pretty innocent. Only Gaspar stated anything suspicious of Meiz. So, no, I think you are very wrong about that. Again reading that makes me feel like you are twisting facts to make it seem like there's more suspicion than there is... phantom bandwagon much?
The way that people have been viewing the PRs with distrust makes me think its much less likely a wolf would draw more attention to themselves with a PR. You do say "it can wait" and I wholeheartedly agree with that. Let's not go meta.
Well, I can't really see how anyone was considering Meiz to be villager based on day 1 and 2. I felt like he's contribution was pretty lacking. But, maybe I was wrong, then.
Fake Edit: That post should clarify, if things switch so that Catwlak is not a leading candidate at the deadline. I think is is slightly scummier than anyone else at this point,

What I found insulting about that is that you accused me of being "useless" with the "hindsight" that I'm a wolf. I'm not. It's basically tautological that if you look at a player through wolf goggles that they'd be useless because why would you suspect them otherwise? So it's just a way to say I'm useless, regardless of read. I fully admit that I haven't done much service to "our" village, but it wouldn't be that way if thestick had flipped a different color.

I meant with the hindsight of what we learned already, not with the hindsight that you are a wolf. It's still and unfair analysis, in a way, but it's a legitimate one to make.

Really? As far as I see I have answered your accusations and the questons. But do what you want try to lynch me but for someone who loved to run his mouth how stupid various villagers were your play isn't any better. So when ever you lurk after this game STFU in the luker-thread you ain't so good & smart as you paint yourself in them.
