I like Zakalwe's moves. I would also keep other warrior in place and move axe NE.

That might be good, since there is no good food tile to work until two turns from now. Another option might be to put some hammers into a settler while waiting for the food to come on-line.

If we had a clear path towards the NE we could chop out a settler and push it up there pretty fast. Of course, that warrior of theirs will be a nuisance.

If we chop a fourth worker, we won't have enough forests left for a really quick settler, but it may still be the better play.

On that note, maybe the other warrior should also give chase? Moving NW-NE, or just N onto the hill?

They could move SE that northern warrior. I think at this point it is better to keep the warrior so that it can reach both of our cities fast.

Ok, I guess we can give chase at a safer distance, then. smile

Next turn 2 FWs are pasturing the sheep. 3rd probably prechops a forest S. Do we want to start growing immediately and start warrior/Axe or fourth Worker?

Capital finish waaarior or switch to settler? I like finishing warrior, even if it will further delay our settler.

Next tech. Pottery or Hunting?

Horses visible to us are not "pastured".

If we want a fourth worker soonish we should build it now, out of Bloody Mary. So I'm leaning towards that.

Alternatively, if we want to grow there, I think we should work the unimproved sheep, since that will let us regain one tile-turn by growing one turn faster. By building the worker now, we don't have to work an unimproved tile, and we get the additional worker turns sooner.

Don't know what to do in the capital, maybe wait for a granary and cottages to grow into before worrying about growth? Or we could grow to size three and work the wine farm, perhaps, or a mine.

Pottery next, for granaries? Then hunting, for spears and deers.

As for a dotmap, maybe plonk a city on the hill south of the northernmost horses? It's not a given that TEAM will have another source.

Yeah, one city does not a dotmap make, but that's all I have for now. smile

Can the turnplayer grab me screenshots of the graphs when the next turn is played, please, and overviews of all the land, and inside both cities. I'll need them for the T40 history report (lots of unit movements to map this time eek)

Re: hunting vs pottery - wish I could figure out if it was a chariot they built or not, coz if not then pottery first, but if yes then hunting for a spear to spike their wheels with might be nice ...

TEAM probably settled a coastal site with horses, chopped a chariot, and their mystery tech is Fishing.

Can't be Fishing - we don't get a known Civ bonus to our GNP if we're researching Fishing.
