WW16: The Outlaws and The Olives

I hope I don't regret this... lol

This likely means I'm dead tomorrow, but to be honest my contributions haven't been all that great anyway and I'm not particularly enjoying this game. (That's not a critique of you, Brick, just how the game moves so rapidly when I'm not around and grinds to a halt when I am.)

I'm a tracker- I can follow someone and see what action they did at night. My 'nom du guerre' is "Tinkerer." I've had growing suspicion of Mattimeo because of this: '3-shot cloaker' just doesn't fit the pattern, there's no fluff there. I'm willing to share all the results of my tracking, but I'd like Mattimeo to share first, as I've watched him some day(s) and gotten null read(s). And yes, earlier I argued he shouldn't share, but at this point he's had time to protect people. Certainly the wolves either aren't afraid of him or are being incredibly bold.

It's my suspicion of Mattimeo that drove my Catwalk vote yesterday and today- Catwalk pushed on Mattimeo to claim early, which apparently frustrated him, but as there was push back he chimed in to defend Catwalk. And novice was in full-on "anyone but Catwalk" mode at the end of Day 3. novice briefly voted for Mattimeo now, so maybe I'm conspiracy-minded, but he jumped off pretty fast.

This should be interesting. smile

Unfortunately I think Mattimeo is sleeping so I guess we'll just have to wait.

Well....

On the Mattimeo wagon:
I was very curious to see where a Mattimeo wagon would go. Seems it has been derailed before it could even get started. Had a few WIFOM moments when reading Ichabod. Wouldnt think a mafia would get so worked up about it.... unless he thought the Mattimeo wagon likely to succeed. Mattimeo in blue would certainly look good for Ichabod's great defense. Well a red Mattimeo wouldn't be that bad for Ichy either - what wolf would tie himself so passionately to his fellow wolf??

on Arromir:
hopefully we will be spared 72 hours of wasted time by a mod-kill at the end of this day.

Injera, why would you reveal that you had "null reads" of Mattimeo?

Last few pages has me giving TT a little more cred now. Of the good V-kind. Going after novice is in my view still weird, but leaning towards misguided rather than "trying for evil mafia-style mislynch". And he does contribute.

Also noticed the pindicator spreadsheet, some effort went into that. Gained some +frags there. Used it to find someone who has been at the back of my mind a while, but never posted anything against.

Qgqqqqq.

Vote for uberfish "even thought it doesn't count"

Vote for ichabod "want vote to count"

Sucking up to novice and lewwyn:
"novice i know this is a big ask, but could you take ts through your arguments and top suspects? While you did a great job,"
"Wow Llewyn, that is some strong reasoning. "
"Agreeing with novice here"
"Wow thats a wake-up call to inactivity (Lewyns post), "

And "OMFG thats awful, two dead and another with aworse PR then novice."
with "Im definitely happy to get behind a Selrahc lynch."

Along with "Im leaning towards Arromir lynch, simply aecause we cant afford to lynch active players while letting inactive players get... "

Don't like the OMFG but I understand people express their feelings at lynch results differently. I feel attacks on these lurkers are quite easy/safe attacks. Not much danger of vigorous defense and revenga-votes in return.

Because that's what I got. If I saw him cloaking or doing something other than cloaking it would have confirmed him one way or another and I would say so.

But if you wanted to catch him red-handed, why reveal that you got a null read, why not wait to have him say something like "I protected X" and then confronting him with your null-read?

Exactly. If he's faking it, he could now say "did nothing" instead of "protected myself"

In light of Injera's claim I think it's time that Mattimeo share a little with the group. Since Injera says he's received a null read, I think Mattimeo should at least say which day he didn't cloak.

We have a conflict of role themes, i think -- both day 1 claims were for limited-shot abilities. Injera's claim & thestick's reveal were unlimited shot. Someone with GM experience want to chime in on if that's significant or if they inter-mingle multi-use and unlimited use?

Now this is interesting.

Before his claim I was willing to vote Injera based on 2 things:

a) He started with projecting huge village-vibes and decrasded during the following days significantly which is a pattern that I found in his previous wolf-games too.
b) his vote on day1 fits with a try to push Bigger. To clarify his vote to push Bigger up to 3 came immediatly after Matt claimed cloaker. On this point also: Jkaen heaved Bigger up to 4 votes when the standing was thestick(6) and Matt(5). Afterwards the huge influx of thestick-votes happened and the next push on Bigger was carried by villagers (uberfish,Sareln & merovech).
In short if there ever was a scum-push to save thestick via Bigger it happened in the Injera+Jkaen vote and between those 2 I think Injera more likely scum.

Why would you want to lynch Arromir if he doesn't get mod-killed?
