WW16: The Outlaws and The Olives

The only one that even strikes me as half believable is Injera's 'Tinkerer'.

Isn't it nice to have a relaxed mafia game based on deduction and reading people, without all the metagaming?

Qg: Claims Mattimeo visited noone on N1. Uncertain whether this means one of them is lying or if Mattimeo protecting himself would show up blank to Qg (poor design if so IMO). Took a VERY long time to describe his role.

Injera: Is hell-bent on confirming the name of Mattimeo's ability, and insists that Mattimeo can confirm Injera's ability somehow. Claimed the ability at a time that Mattimeo was getting close to lynching, and is using his claim to defend Mattimeo. Also bungled the attempt to bust Mattimeo, by 1) not following Mattimeo every night and 2) giving Mattimeo too much information about his reads.

Mattimeo: Has made very suspicious night decisions, namely not using his power on N2 and N3.

Is the above a correct summary?

Speaking of poor design - it is odd to have a role that blocks all night actions on a target, and simultaneously allow targetting yourself. So you target yourself, which means your action shouldn't work, which means it should work, which means it shouldn't work, etc.

Aha. I read it as designed to test Matt, but you did that to confirm yourself as a villager. Or a 'follower', at any rate.

Had a side thought too, BRick was in the last game, he was evil and probably enjoyed watching the village hang 3 guys because they had identical roles. So just because people really can track, cloak, follow or WATCH, doesn't mean they are villagers. They most likely are if they use said abilities to spot/thwart mafia.

I'm going to vote Mattimeo on grounds of not believing his role. I have no idea what to make of Injera and Qg, I think Injera is a well-meaning villager who's getting ahead of himself and Qg is a very confusing villager who's confusing us. I don't like the name of Qg's role, but I don't think it's a smoking gun. I do think that 3-shot cloaker is not believable, I also think that he would have used at least 2 out of 3 shots by now.

Sure, paint all the claimers in a negative light. I'd still like to see Catwalk hang today.

I mean, "you added that 50-50 chance" to confirm yourself as villager (as well as testing Matt).

Why should I not paint the claimers in a negative light?
