pindicator Wrote:@novice - Do you take Twinkletoes reluctance at the end of the day to be honest paranoia? I need to review a lot, but I just re-read the last hour and a half of the day (i was trying to find where I got the impression that you weren't on the first mattimeo bandwagon; it was from mis-remembering twinkletoes' post after you started the mattimeo push), and there's a lot of push back from twinkletoes. I can see that as paranoia because he had been on your case, but him & molach are the only two people who post to hold off on mattimeo at that point. I need to read earlier, on the first push in the day.

I ask because I remember how quickly TT agreed with mattimeo's claim and disregarded thestick's (back on day 1). So I need to review twinkletoes' stuff and see how his shift on mattimeo came about. Right now i'm wondering if he was playing his part in thestick's bussing.

When the last hours of day 4 unfolded I found TT's reluctance to swing back to the Mattimeo wagon perfectly in character. He is a paranoid player, and like I've said earlier he must be a hell of an actor if it's an act.

And if I don't vote Republican or Democrat I'm just throwing my vote away, right?

Not sure if it's a good idea going there, but yes. The way the US system is designed, not voting for either party means throwing your vote away. I do think that's a flaw in the system. Our system is a lot different, a vote here is rarely wasted as long as the party you vote for gets 2% of the vote or more.

Well, at least I know where our philosophical differences lie.
I don't want to get into debating which system is better either.

Indeed, let's agree to disagree on that one. Everybody else can make up their own mind as to whether your actions are anti-town or not, I'm not claiming to state anything but my own opinion.

Well I've done it. I was convinced uberfish was guilty ( like tasunke ) and just preferred to let my vote sit. But, then day 2 with the 7-7-6 vote up - with so many wolves in the game - seems way to easy for them to manipulate with just a few convinced villagers holding on to their convictions smile

It's night, no reason to get worked up yet. ( why rush? smile ). I'm getting paranoid about the upcoming dawn. Can't "sleep" - I keep checking the deadbolts on the church doors.

In the event of my death, should I continue to update the scraper? I think not, but wanted to get opinion on it.

novice Wrote:Btw Thestick was the first person to vote Mattimeo. At the time Bigger had three votes, and Thestick had five villagers voting for him. (me, Zak, Bigger, Merovech, Serdoa). Not sure what it says about Mattimeo's guilt, though.

How likely is it that thestick wasn't the only one to put his first day 1 vote on a fellow wolf?

Mattimeo's day 1 votes were tasunke and then thestick after mattimeo claimed.

In case I get eaten tonight here's my final two cents, not that I've played a great game. I think we can probably rule out a double bus here. The only people to vote for both thestick and Matt are novice and TT*. When novice and I did our double bus before, it was fairly chaotic and not really planned out, so it's possible that happened again, but I think novice would have learned from it and gotten at least another wolf on board for both. With 6 wolves do you only try to make two of them look good? Tasunke was on thestick but not Mattimeo.

*Molach was on both, but in both cases he was the last and non-deciding vote, so no clearance here.

So, assuming that Mattimeo wasn't intentionally bused, here are the non-Mattimeo voters: Azza, Lewwyn, pindicator, Qg, Gaspar, Jkaen, Selrahc, Tasunke, and then Molach the last voter.

I ruled out the following three for "following":

Qg - believable claim, likely target if true; can follow up later
pindicator - watched before, so unlikely have a wolf pr, though could have been cloaked
Selrahc - had been using his limitied posts to pressure Matt about his claim

Of the remaining 6, we have Azza, Gaspar, Jkaen, Lewwyn, Molach, and Tasunke.

I followed Azza. I almost chose Gaspar, he was on Mattimeo's case on Day 2 for his protection choice, which might be distancing (knowing that Mattimeo could "claim" to have watched himself.) Lewwyn is difficult to read as his vote is basically meaningless, so he can bounce around willy-nilly. To judge him we're going to need to go back and look at whom he is really pushing. Molach- concerned about his lost cause votes for wolves. Jkaen- I've had a vilage read on him most of the game and would need to go back and do a reread.

Pindicator. Crucially, on Day 2 not a single non-Matt voter voted for him while no-non-Matt voters voted for Ichabod. Catwalk was mixed in the middle. He kept a spreadsheet in his first WW game as well when he was a wolf. I do empathize with that given his timing related to the game.
