Realms Beyond Life

Hi,

I've played the Geek and Gamer classes to death in that fantastic MPORPG called "Real Life", so some time ago I started to search for a new variant I could try out. I came along the "Father" class and thought it sounded interesting: Easy to acquire, really long playing time and a lot of fun, albeit a bit costly.

So here's my first try, a daughter born on May, 2nd, weighing 3200g, size 53cm:

...and it's really amazing already! Her birth was a lot more complicated than hoped unfortunately, but she's so cute that this doesn't matter the slightest anymore. smile

The first days were spent farming XPs, and I'm already an expert in Summon Fresh Diaper and Calm Children. The skill I'm trying to advance next will be No Need For Sleep - a lot harder to learn than the other, it seems.

Sorry to the Team Realms Beyond of the Civ IV demogame for not taking part in the discussions - I hope the game has begun finally? - I will join again in a couple of days, when things have cooled down a bit here. If that ever happens, that is... wink

You haven't missed anything in the Apolyton Demo game either. Imagine this - it still hasn't started yet! I know, I know, you can't believe it either. wink Please take your time during this busy period, we'll all be here waiting as you work to master the No Need for Sleep skill.

Congratulations, Kylearan!

Oh, by playing in American times (hardly any euros in RB:GW sadly) I've mastered that skill. It's easy!

Have fun with your new variant smile

Congratulations! I don't seem to have the stats to try out the "father" class myself, but a similar experience with the "mother" class has been great. smile

I hope your wife is recovering well.

Congrats, Kylearan!

Congratulations, Kylearan! You've got a beautiful baby there!

Good luck on the Sleepless Yet Still Functioning skill - that one's the toughest to master. I passed most of the first 4 months after each of my sons was born in a fog that I really don't remember all that well... lol

Congratulations !

When I see babies of that size, I *still* feel an overwhelming urge to pick them up and snuggle them. lol

I hope your wife is well.

As to the No Need For Sleep skill, best wishes to you. I found that my limitations in that area had to be offset by learning the Nap Anytime skill. rolleye

Is saying "well done" appropriate? wink

I can't speak from my own experience so the most desperatly maxed skills within a year seem to be "Keep Bad Things to Swallow Away" and "Keep Eye on Possible Crawling/Walking/Falling Injuries".
