Well, I'm not voting for you right now, but you focused your first three days on suspecting uberfish and Catwalk. And then when Catwalk is finally set to hang, you do a last minute swap to Merovech to save him. You had a set of posts explaining that switch was due to his bad claim, but then mostly silence when the real role-claim fighting starts the next day.

I must be missing something here, please elaborate. None of the mafia members surviving sounds like a good deal to me tongue

It would have serious bite if he'd make a case how Matt has acted suspicious here and there. Now it's just the name of his role that bothered him and he voted Qgqq over Matt.

The bite was serious to me because I have a fluff role name and could think along the same lines. I tried to find "cloaker" being used anywhere outside of a D&D monster and it just wasn't there. He did vote Qg over Matt and let the vote stick after not making meaningful votes for the previous 3 days, and yeah, I find that suspicious. But the plausibility of him being a village PR knocked him off my "to watch" list.

Unless something really jumps out at me, I tend not to comment on it. I'm not particularly talkative, whether in person or online. I think I said during the last day that I was thinking Mattimeo could've been a bit sus, and what I possibly could've/should've said shortly after that was that I thought the arguments that his claim was verifiable was convincing enough to wait, or at least the arguments against him weren't damning enough before I went to bed (roughly 7-8 hours before the deadline).

Seems I changed my perspective in the sentence half way through. smoke

What I should've said was;
The only thing lynching me would do is give the mafia a night where all of their remaining members would survive.
or
The only thing lynching me would do is give the mafia a night where none of their members would be lynched.

Quote:The only thing lynching me would do is give the mafia a night where none of their members would survive. It would be a massive waste of a lynch. Lynching a less active player isn't that useful unless there is a clear reason why they're suspicious. I don't believe that anything I've done could be construed as being suspicious, at least not to be lynched.
So this was a really long way of saying "I'm not scum because I'm innocent and you can't prove otherwise. Since I'm not scum, lynching me is bad for the town and good for the mafia"?

The only other one was where I "Agreed" with Twinkletoes questioning the same things. 3 in 20 is quite a few. 15% of all my posts were questioning Mattimeo's role. tongue

I'm not sure it's quite so good though. Ultimately, Mattimeo was telling the truth about his role and name. If I was a wolf I might have felt it was safe to push at that thread, and been annoyed when the rest of the game roles didn't provide backup.

We've had that once, and called it a voyeur. I don't think these names are official mafiascum.net terminology though.

Yes, could certainly be interpreted as distancing. The crucial thing is he voted Qgqqq. Which is why I don't get why people suspect Ichabod. Ichabod was the fifth vote on the final Mattimeo wagon, bringing the tally to

Mattimeo - 5 - novice, Waterbat, Catwalk, Meiz, Ichabod

Injera - 2 - Qgqqqqq, Pindicator
Selrahc - 1 - Lewwyn

Players not voting: Arromir, Rowain

Who also defended Mattimeo on the first wagon, voted incorrectly at every turn, and has contributed little so far? Gaspar.

Sorry for starting another dogpile, but let's keep it simple.

I have a way with words.

voting records alone are seriously damning for pindicator and gaspar.

i didn't literally flip a coin when deciding earlier, but instead chose the player who was active in the thread at the time (pindicator)in order to get some early discussion going on the day. 4am and have to get up in 30 minutes.... ugh.
