[SPOILERS] Dazed and scooter play Stalin of Vikings and make a big mess

Since I declared war, it's actually a remarkably consistent 10-12 minutes a turn. Pre-war it was nearly always < 10.

I think you should make him pay for refusing peace by doing the long war and taking his mainland. Then you'll actually have your own happiness resources! wink
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Ok, here's T222 from last night. This was the first turn in quite a long time that I took no cities, but that doesn't mean I didn't make progress. Anyways, it's go time in Brick land:

I waited for the extra two catapults so I could get some decent collateral. I went for it. I knew I didn't have enough units to take it this turn, but all that mattered was getting rid of the top defenders. The one thing I was nervous about was I got these lousy odds on his mega musket:

However, I WON. From there, my second attack was 75% and everything else was that or better:

Amazing that a longbow takes precedence here over a Musket btw. Anyways, astoundingly enough I won every single battle leaving ONE UNIT LEFT:

I was being pretty literal when I said it was not possible to take it thihs turn hah. But yep, that's a 1.3/2h warrior left. Combat log:

I always love a good sea of green. Anyways, it was a healing turn in the north vs Nakor as all my Rifles are pretty shot up. He does have some boats in his front cities:

He has some Frigates now, so I'll need to be more mindful of covering my Galleons so I don't lose Rifles that way - that would be really dumb. Still, even that force is hardly intimidating. Also, if Regopin takes this it would be the scummiest of all scummy moves:

I have just an archer defending that city. I purposely did not upgrade him just to dare them to take the shot. If they raze that city, I will sue for peace on Nakor/Brick, shift all military to Regopin, and just mindlessly throw things at them until they concede to Krill smile. The main reason it would be scummy is they are giving me two happies as a result of the tech trade, and that was just a few turns ago, so that would be the second time they've ripped me off on a resource deal, and that would make the leap from shady (the last one) to outright scum IMO.

(Note: They did NOT do it, although I don't actually know if they have units on that thing... However it looks awfully threatening to just randomly "scout" with a Galleon for land that you already have a map of, so it certainly looks like poking for an attack. I've shifted a couple Frigates so I can sink Galleons if needed)

The mainland is just not doable. First, he should have quite a few units on hand and actually outnumber me. I've never cared about the mainland, only the islands which makes it further confusing why he's refused to just give me the islands that I've demonstrated pretty clearly that I can take. But past that, even if I DID make headway on the mainland, I'd have a Krill problem. Krill has no reason to fight me because naval conflict against me would be genuinely difficult. However, he would CRUSH me in a land war. It's just not close. So I'm not even going to pretend like I could do that. Once I've taken these islands that are rightfully mine, I'll give Nakor peace. I just wish he'd take a deal and speed the process and then he can get back to getting lucrative OB with me.

The funniest part about this is I've actually been investing many more units on the Brick front than the Nakor front, and I've had to work a lot harder down there. Go figure lol.

I'm pushing to get more Galleons in the water now so I can pick up some of the elite units (CR3 Rifles are DIRTY) and send those to the Egyptian front lines. I'll raze Nakor-ian mainland coastal cities if I have to in order to get what I want. I have more Rifles on the south than I do up in the north, so if I double my northern forces then Nakor will really be in a bind.

Don't you have forced peace with Regopin?
I have to run.

No, we only signed a cease fire... And apparently the resource trade didn't lock in peace.

T223 is in, and this one was pretty action packed... I went back to my city-taking ways, and this should continue for a little longer now:

Also retook 1/2 of my smoke

Troll city will fall next turn:

Kudzu right after that:

By then Nakor's island should be about done smile. One thing - what's this referring to?

I don't remember seeing the "villainy" reason anytime recently. Is that for taking cities of Sumerian culture or something? I figured the motherland thing would cover that. Here's Brick's last city I haven't shown lately:

That's going to take awhile to walk to. Kind of annoying, but such is life. Anyways, my Frigates started getting going up in Nakorland:

That galley won't be doing any reinforcing. Guess that means this Rifle is stranded:

Nakor is pushing his own frigates forward so I need to be careful, however he kindly left this one in the open sea instead of in coastal cover:

Sadly I lost the first 50/50 coin flip, but I cleaned up with the 2nd Frigate. Also sniped a random Caravel:

However, I took more damage than expected and uh:

Oops? Regoarrarr didn't do anything except move his Galleon underneath my Frigate. I took a glance and I see what's up - he planted a stone city obnoxiously:

I can pretty muich take that whenever I want should I choose to do so. Lucky for Regoarrarr that Nakor "refuses to talk"... Anyways, the power graph is interesting:

Mostly for the lack of any discernable spike from Nakor. I see he's got a little bit of a spike the last couple turns, but even that is pretty small compared to what is possible for him. I'm wondering if he's only drafting and not whipping? I don't know. Also, even Regopin's giant army isn't much bigger than mine. Interesting. If Krill goes at Regopin, it's GG. Actually it is already. Here's an example of why:

Nobody can keep up with that kind of raw production. That's insane. He has more riverside tiles in this picture than I do in my empire. I wish I was exaggerating frown.

I would guess the villainy is for being at war with the motherland, but I can't recall it being called villainy either.
I have to run.

Hmmm ... the only time I remember seeing villainy is after defying AP or UN resolutions. Are you getting it just in the captured cities or in the homeland as well?
