Since it's a week without any game closing, here's an extra bonus report for those who like reading my prattle.

That was highly entertaining to read, despite someone making puns even worse than I do. I'm glad you liked the scenario design; even though this was an emergency replacement game, I think it came together pretty well in the end.

The main reason Compromise didn't get the doubling bonus added on to his score is because it was irrelevant either way. I probably would have gone with it if we had had your game to compare against. For a game that didn't spread Sushi to the AIs, this was pretty close to ideal.

I loved reading the report. Brought back memories of a game I thoroughly enjoyed. I would not have guessed that it would be possible to do so well without spreading the corporation to the AIs. Thanks for posting!

A nice game. I enjoyed this one tremendously, so this brought back good memories.

Thinking about it, the early corporation was lots of fun, maybe a Mao like game (I think epic 17) where you can choose your starting cooperation instead of a starting tech could be much fun.

1) re "With the western island city, and the culture expansions from Sid's Sushi, I was finally able to get a trireme to make the jump over to Mongolian territory. That boat contacted Gilgamesh over there too, then finally Justinian as well, completing the roster of rivals." ... isn't there a normal, non culture path there, 1 tile N and W of the boat are both coastal. I often miss those when I take the quickest route around an island.

2) re your city founding puzzle "How do we guarantee that the city gets founded on time next turn? Answer below the picture." Another option is to load the berserker onto the boat, settle the city and sail the boat into the city for instant city defense.
