Sounds good to me.

The worker on the plains hill should perhaps move to chop right away?
If you know what I mean.

I should add, I defer to Zak and Plako on this since I'm not really caught up on the micro plan here.

I particularly like the sound of the bit where we get to kill one of TEAM's warriors hammer

Stomach flu. I'm nowhere near in condition to play. Maybe tomorrow, but might be better that someone else does this. I didn't have energy to consider who should be chopping and when.

Oh dear frown Get well soon!

I can log in and do the actual moving if no-one else is available, tho I would prefer if someone else did coz I'm not really following along with the micro stuff in detail.

If I'm going to do it can someone not-plako sanity check smile This looks like the actual moves for this next turn:

plako Wrote:* 2 workers on gassland hill move NW and build road
* worker on plains hill builds road
* 2 warriors move to plains hill 2N using newly built road. It would be best to get rid of that warrior next turn hitting it with 2 warriors on flat land. This frees our workers in better position to chop the forest for settler
* Northern Axe moves NE
* Southern axe stays in place
* we accumulate another turn of gold

But I didn't really understand what Zakalwe was wanting to change? The worker on the plains hill should go where & chop?

Scout I guess is just moving somewhere back towards the middle and/or Menagerie.

Yeah, get well soon, Plako.

I can play the turn, I'll just run through the micro plan once to make sure I understand it.

Here's an updated sandbox:

Okay, I'll play and go with these actions:

* 2 workers on grassland hill move NW and build road
* worker on plains hill moves NE and chops
* 2 warriors move to plains hill 2N using newly built road.
* Northern Axe moves NE
* Southern axe stays in place
* we accumulate another turn of gold

I simmed ahead in the sandbox, and by using two workers to road the same tile this turn we "lose" a worker turn around our T50 settlement, since our workers can't efficiently move and road to get up there. This means we can only chop one forest on the turn that city is settled, but I think that's more than enough. The "wasted" worker turn can e.g. be used to put another turn into our wine farm.

So instead of worker positioning as shown here, we'll have three workers on the forest SW of our T50 city, and that forest will have two chop turns invested.

I'll play in say one hour unless I hear any objections before then.
I have to run.

Nice work, Novice. I had a feeling our workers would be out of position compared to what I simmed earlier, since I did a fair amount of juggling with the workers to have them all end up in the north. (Basically, one worker had to keep moving north, putting one road turn into each tile on the way.)

But it's not clear that we even want all three workers up there anyway, so this is fine. We should start planning further ahead pretty soon. If we chop the last forest at Bloody Mary and whip it from 4->2 we can get another settler out pretty fast.
If you know what I mean.
