Heh, well, if Merovech is still kindly willing to mapmake, we seem to have a set here.

Playing windows: I have a couple slots during the day. Evenings are terrible for me, as I frequently have night meetings for work. EST (What's that, GMT -5?), prefer before 8a here or over lunch. If I can get Civ up and running here at work, heh, I'll have plenty of flexibility.

Lunch or just as I come home from work has been good for me. CDT means...GMT 1800-2400. Given known times working in the past, maybe just going around the world for Boldly-> me -> Slow -> Sian?

Do you mean that the save would be passed to me between 18:00 and 24:00 GMT Commodore? That'd probably work if so.

Oh dear, and I only recently posted in the PBEM38 forum that X-Com would ride again some day. And now Boldly is going to play a game? This is a disaster. I'd love to team up with Commodore in a game like this where our warmongering will be properly appreciated by everyone (except the other teams maybe!). It would be a double bonus to raze my brother's capital, holy city, and every other city as well. If we could mod in salt plowing post-razing that would be even better.
However, how can I resist the possibility of teaming with Boldly for his first real MP action? We team together very poorly, as veterans of my PBEM29 thread already know -- has anyone else ever caused a teammate to rage quit? -- and he's more likely to follow my bad advice than Commodore would be, as Commodore knows better and Boldly does not! So I may stand a better chance at undermining Boldly's chances by being on the inside....
Is there any would-be lurker preference? Shall I make my Thanksgiving dinner awkward because I burned my brother's cities, or because my advice was so bad he fired me from the team?
