Uhhh ok! Although rather be on even numbers at night, I don't think this actually buys us a mislynch.

Right, throwing everything out the window.
Azza seems like a good start. There was so little movement to save a mafia member on the block, could it be that we had two on the block again?

pindicator Wrote:That's gotta be good news Good point. I just automatically assumed someone used a protective power (could be used to clear Someone )- wasn't thinking of a jailing/role-block power. (could go either way or deliver us a mafia)

By killing somebody, they remove a potential suspect but don't lower the mislynch count. So it makes their position better to not kill somebody... It's alarming. That kind of move is one I'd expect right at the endgame, and I was hoping we have at least one more available mislynch. Hopefully though, there is a more benign explanation.
That is true, I wasn't thinking about the even number / odd number bit. Perhaps I got ahead of myself

How does the mafia side of things typically work here?
If each member of the mafia has to take turns to nominate a night kill, then a player who didn't post during the last night, or maybe even late in the last day looks a likely candidate to be a mafia. I haven't looked back, but I think Jkaen hasn't been sighted in that sort of time period. If the mafia collaborate and then have any member let the game admin know who they want to kill, my suspicion is drawn towards the players who posted shortly after the beginning of the day. So Pindicator, Waterbat, Twinkletoes or Selrahc. Of those 4, TT is probably the most likely to be village noise, but I'm not sure how to split the other 3. Of course, all this assumes that no one comes forward and lets us know about a power role they used last night. Azza Wrote:How does the mafia side of things typically work here? Azza.

What does a man have to do to get night killed in this game?
Meiz Wrote:Also finding waterbat's post odd, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....count=3112 I agree with this, as I said yesterday. His comments on a Catwalk "tiff" also seem odd to me. In general I get an insincere feeling from his posts from time to time. Day one he switched from an early vote on Thestick to a useless vote on Injera. Day two he stayed on Uberfish all day. Waterbat
I have to run.
I don't think its an insincere feeling you're getting from his post novice. I think its a more lackadaisical feeling. I said it before but I don't think waterbat is as focused, and thus I don't agree that he is scum.
Azza on the otherhand is right there to counter any move against him. I would consider him to be vigilant and defensive.
