Weird Bug with User Interface

Umm just installed Civ on a different computer.
Unfortunately while patching, fiddling with .ini etc. something happened and now none of the user interface is visible.
This is only in-game, all out of game (setup and so forth) work fine and in-game hotkeys, movement with mouse, etc. mean I cna load most things (escape for menu, ctrl-w for worldbuilder and so on), but I can't see them, meaning I can't micro, hire specialists, properly command workers or anything!
Is there a switch I've flipped or something (note: I've tried the minimise interface from CFC with no effect)
Help?!

I'd uninstall and reinstall it again.

You could also do a search over at civfanatics - there is a forum with information about technical issues there - someone has probably had and solved the problem you have.

Alt-I toggles the user interface. I sometimes toggle it off to take larger map screenshots.

Sry if it wasnt clear, I already tried "alt i" and other hotkeys (unless theyre different on win7/complete???)

Did you install Bug mod? That and playing other mods causes interface problems. You need to reconfigure the custom assets line in the ini file (change a 0 to a 1) of the other mod. Hope that helps.

Thanks but no mods yet, fully patched though, and it has the same problem with mods like Defence!.

Instead of doing my own thread:

After registering with my old nickname in the new forum. I am not able to log in to the forum, with either the new or old PW.

My old PW doesn't fulfill the requirements for PW's in this forum.

I tried entering my old and new e-mail, for pw retrieval. Both are "Not Valid"

I tried entering my old and new e-mail, to retrieve my PW [old means old registration from old forum, new means new registration etc. pp.]
