I've calmed down so I'll play in a few hours. I think we need to reconsider our goals. With current forces it will be a huge risk to go against the city so I think we would be better of improving Corn near Bitter instead of road. I would move both of our non-moved Axes NE. Our goal would be pillaging the the road leading towards Losing and make sure they can't settle anything between their cities without significant escort. After we get our current Axes online we could consider taking a shot against Losing or wait for better units and just keep choking. Opinions?

So let's tech Iron Working after Pottery, choke the city, and kill it with Swords.

I would like HBR way more than IW.

Or HBR smile. I'm not picky, just as long as it gives us an option to kill with.

Can we kill those Workes?

We've already moved the Axe that sees them, so I'd imagine they'll run the Workers straight into the city (or away), which is a shame frown

If we tech HBR how're we getting our horses? Next city to go south of Losing?

Given they seem to regard our failure to just bend over & take whatever deal they wish to give us as an insult rather than an opening to negotiations, I'm definitely in favour of working towards killing that city smile

Let's switch production back to an axe in Bitter, and have 5 hammers in it when we hit size 2. Just in case we want to whip it.
If you know what I mean.

So what to do next turn? Attack would be very risky so not big fan of it. Sometimes you need to take risks, but this doesn't feel like a right place for it. Most likely scenario is that we kill 1 Archer and lose 2 axes and after promotions can't attack 1 Axe against 1 Archer.

So the questionis how should we move to make it most annoying to TEAM? Moving 1 Axe on Deer other to horses and keeping 3rd in place could work. We could also consider chopping the forest away from Deer or move instead to road to pillage it the turn after.

Other question is what to do with the warrior. Move Spear towards Bitter? Alternatively we could also whip Axe from capital. We could put overflow on Granary and instead of moving workers for roading we could use them to move towards pigs to pasture them.

I'd wondered about moving the single axe 1E to sit on the road & pillage it, intending to head to the corn & see if they're trying to improve that. Then one other Axe onto horses, one stays in place.

No point in suiciding our units. Pillaging and choking seems like the way to go. How well defended is their capital?

I believe their entire army consists of 2 Archers & 2 Warriors. We can see both Archers in Losing, and one of the Warriors to the SW of our cap. So there's only 1 Warrior spare at the moment to be at their capital.

They surely will've built more units by the time we could walk ours up there tho.
