Yes I get that, the main point is that thestick was villager in that game.

no, my main point was that Bigger was stating something that wasn't true! i wasnt trying to imply anything about thestick really. I took this as a mark against Bigger - i.e. he was fabricating something.

I've also looked at day 6 where we had the disaster at the deadling and novice chose tasunke over meiz.

Its a mess. In the end, the tasunke lynch tells us nothing. with 12 minutes to go, Tasunke wagon started by 3 villagers (Ichabod/Novice/Selrahc) up until then he had 0 votes.

As stated, earlier Selrahc was in the lead all day and there was no movement until Meiz took the lead - then it was open season on myself and Azza:

at 7 hours to lynch:
(October 2nd, 2012, 09:20)BRickAstley Wrote: Official Lynch Vote Count

Selrahc - 5 - Meiz, novice, Waterbat, Molach, Jkaen
Injera - 3 - Gaspar, Twinkletoes89, tasunke
Gaspar - 3 - Ichabod, Injera, Selrahc
Meiz - 1 - Azza
Azza - 1 - Catwalk
Ichabod - 1 - Lewwyn
Jkaen - 1 - Pindicator

Players not voting: None
in very quick fashion:
Ichabod votes Meiz ... Lewwyn reacts by.... voting Azza?
Tasunke votes Meiz
Gaspar votes Meiz
Twinkletoes votes Meiz

This ties up the vote 5-5, and a short lull in the action.
pindicator arrives and votes Selrahc to make it 6-5

after selrahc makes a case against tasunke, noviceand pindicator pull off and follow. putting Meiz in the lead.

Here's where it gets weird- Meiz makes a detailed case against me, but doesnt vote. Initially i thought this was just because he was in self-preservation mode - keeping his vote on selrahc.

novice, pindicator and selrahc quickly vote waterbat

and what appeared to be the final move of the day (before the tasunke BS):

Injera goes Azza to start the shift, count is:
meiz - 5
selrahc - 4
azza - 3
waterbat - 3

Meiz quickly follows and after a tally, Selrahc also follows onto Azza.

So the following posts catch my attention:

waterbat Wrote:so azza and meiz now tie at 5-5, then selrahc 3, me 2.

we sat on selrahc all day and didnt have much movement - but when meiz comes into the lead, its free for all on waterbat/azza?

I agree, I think that at least the Waterbat and Tasunke BWs were, at least in part, as a way to try and save Meiz. Indeed the voters stated their intentions at one point to switch to Selrahc in order to "save Meiz" if the Tasunke BW died out. Obviously a pure wolf coalition would not have to post in the thread, but I think the general mentality from 'the other side of the fence' is to save Meiz at all costs, regardless of whom they are voting for.

This is probably how the Azza BW grew, more or less, even if the beginnings were likely valid suspicions.

(October 2nd, 2012, 15:48)pindicator Wrote: Selrahc

I disagree, Tasunke

Meiz fears wolves are staying put and moves back to Selrahc as well.

Then the Tasunke hijinks are kicked off.

What im concentrating on is that the wolves we know about ARE staying put in that scenario. Lewwyn had checked out for the day, Molach as well.

As for current candidates, I was absent until the very end. Catwalk was latched onto Azza (with Lewwyn). Gaspar's vote was constant on Meiz. Only pindicator was jumping around following novice like a puppy dog that day.

I'm not sure this day is worth anything. I was hoping to see some good evidence of Meiz saving going on, but from what i can tell it didnt happen.

Apparently I need this pindicator back:

Okay, so now I'm down to:

Jkaen
Lewwyn
Gaspar
Meiz

Probably in that order too.

Meiz, Pindicator:
I'm trying to go back and look at things while completely disregarding your votes on me. I'm either overcompensating (probably) or completely terrible (probably), but im not reading you either as particularly guilty.

Or do I need this catwalk back?

Not that he needs it, but i think this is a strong village tell on catwalk - after railing on Mattimeo and successfully getting a lynch, would the busser come right out and target ANOTHER scum immediately after? I really dont think so at this point in the game.

Molach
Mattimeo was a lost cause at this point, he may well have abandoned him. His vote implies that he thinks he was casting the deciding vote, when in fact TT did that a little earlier.

pindicator
Refused to vote against either suspect, in spite of being around:
pindicator Wrote:If you would have made me choose at the end of the day, I would have said Mattimeo felt the most villager to me of all 3 of our claimers. I'm glad I kept my mouth shut at the end.
Last time he did this, he first defended his position of not voting because he didn't feel either player was scum. He then seemed to acknowledge that this was anti-town (because it gives scum more influence over the lynch), but gladly does the exact same thing again. Smells like wolf trying (and failing) to distance himself.

of course this is preceded by Lewwyn screaming there is no way Catwalk is a wolf smile

I appreciate everyone's efforts in trying to find something in the past. I'm not really engaging it because I think I've changed my mind on everyone alive a few times over. I think with this long of a game we probably all had some highlights and lowlights. I started out the game thinking Catwalk might be scum. I was absolutely convinced Catwalk and Waterbat were innocent by the midgame. I was fairly well convinced that both Meiz and Pindicator were scum at various points. I have zero doubt that I could dig up a handful of posts on everyone where they're defending a wolf or attacking a villager in face of a wolf hanging.

To me, the scummiest stuff that's gone on the last two days all comes from Waterbat. The rig to tie the mayoral vote so we have no mayor. The attempt to put all of our eggs in Catwalk's basket. Just his entire conversation yesterday. He sounds to me like a scum going down and trying everything to save himself. And really, where we are in the game, if I vote anyone else and then get a we lose message where Waterbat is revealed a winner in red I won't be able to stop kicking myself, particularly since I defended him a decent bit early on. So while I could talk myself into voting Meiz or Pindicator, my gut says Waterbat has to be scum. And I'm very much a gut voter.

If there's anything else anyone needs me to address to feel better about not voting me, I'll be around for the next 90 minutes then its mobile only until the lynch AND my big boss is in the building today so I won't be able to slip out as often as normal.

I still feel most confident of Gaspar being scum given the evidence. Waterbat is a close second, Meiz trailing behind and pindicator less likely.

so then we're back where we started guys.

Gaspar,
if you had 3 choices:
1) elect a mayor who will put your innocent self to death, but you suspect is innocent
2) elect a mayor who appears to favor someone else to die (but could change), but you suspect as guilty
3) defer the election until there was more information out.

in a 7-player game, wouldnt you select 3?
