Artfully framed photos wink Tho to be fair, Giza wasn't so bad - there were a lot of people but pretty spread out. Further south it got more busy though. Valley of the Kings involved a lot of people, and the last bit of the holiday (a cruise from Luxor to Aswan) everywhere we went was absolutely rammed with people. All the cruiseboats get to the various temples at about the same time and all the people end up in the same place at the same time, like in Edfu temple here:

Thanks for both compliments there wink If the info on your profile here is right I'm only a year or so younger than you, so a bit less of that "I'm old" stuff please, I'm not planning to be "old" for at least another decade neenerneener (The photos aren't that recent tho - the Egypt photos are 3 years ago, and the one on my IM account (which is probly the other one you've seen) is 10 years ago.)

Oh, I also got Oxford University. That's a Civ wonder.

The Oxford seal is in the corner of the sign, didn't photograph well but it's there.

I also took pictures of Big Ben (Civ 5) but I wasn't in any of them.

I could get Broadway easily too, it's a couple blocks over from my office. Or the United Nations, where I interviewed once for a job, though I haven't had any other reason to go to that area. I used to work near Wall Street but not now. Statue of Liberty is pretty easy so someone else can get that. Man, New York has a lot of wonders. biggrin

Hi,

I claim the Kremlin. (Edit: Whoops, no I don't - I missed it by one turn. Somehow I hadn't seen Tredje's post above... crazyeye )

...okay, so you could argue that this isn't really the Kremlin, but that's me at the entrance of the Red Square which should be close enough. smile

And that's me a year ago, with my two daughters.

I'm living in constant anarchy since I have them, since they force me to change civics all the time and I'm not spiritual. alright

Oh, and if anyone of you is ever in the Bonn/Cologne area here in Germany, I'll buy you a beer! toast

You'd think there would be more than enough wonders to choose from when living near Paris, but it seems like I was on the other end of the camera most of the time. Instead, I'll claim Versailles. smile

You also do not appear to be properly asleep in that picture!

But novice man, that is a complete cop-out.
