How about starting the tournament? WIth BRickAstley and Pindicator we would be 8 players. If we adopt a double round-robin mode that would be 14 games for each player which sounds good IMHO.
Or are you guys thinking about a different mode?

I'm good with that. It looks like we can't set up a custom tournament on chess.com though, so maybe just write out the structure here to keep up with?

For that matter, how do we want to do this? Single elimination, double elimination, round robin?

Gustaran, i'm good with those rules. What kind of time control do we want to use on the games? Or just do correspondence and give people a week to do the games in a round?

Cant get used to blitz. Played a 5 min game and though winning didnt watch the clock enough and lost.

Just played a 10 min game, he was winning but I brought it back to me being in the lead with both of us running low on time. I ended up running out of time 0.6 secs before him!

I'd like something like a Swiss or a RR. I'd prefer a somewhat higher time control than a lower one or the Correspondence method.

I'm heavily leaning towards (hell ... falling out the window singing) Correspondence Chess as the method to use ... We're to many different places and probably prefer playing at different times of the day ...

was thinking in terms of Round Robin (depending on the players double or swiss), with all games getting the word go at the same time and then collect results when everything is played through
