This is not a biggie, but I didn't expect you to enter our borders without our directions. Well now when you're there you can either follow the road to NE or go straight north. Road will end up towards TEAM's borders. If you go straight north you can by-pass TEAM's borders.

Alright, maybe this game can finally get going again . Back to where we left off - our team likes the idea of the NAP. It's currently T30, so we're interested in accepting your NAP offer of 40 turns to be valid through T70 inclusive. Can we include these two provisions to go with the deal?

1) No placing cities in the "neutral zone" between us that Darrell suggested.

2) Directing EPs away from each other once graphs are obtained.

Just for reference, since I just spent a fair amount of time digging through the thread for this. Above is our NAP deal with Gillette. Here is the neutral zone:




I also noticed in earlier correspondence that they had "a strong preference for us to settle with gold in the second ring".

Anyway, I don't think we want a neutral zone like that anymore, seeing as we now have two cities jammed right up against it. If anything, it should be further west. We could just let the deal expire if they don't propose anything we like.

I guess the missing piece of the diplo puzzle for now is to establish good relations / a NAP with Pirates.

We're keen to keep concentrating on the threat to our north so if we can organise a conflict-free border with you that will be great. We'd like a NAP extension to t100 although we could go longer if you want?



Our current settling plans are attached - - the silk city is due to be settled in the next few turns with the others to follow. We see that you've settled for the gold - did you go for the plains hill that you mooted in your message of Aug 24th?

The southern-most city on our dot-map still needs a bit more exploration (our explorer Trac II raises his glass to Coco Rush by the way) so it may change slightly.

I think I'd prefer to have a little chat with M3 and tell them that we're planning to sign a NAP with Gillette. Assuming they don't have anything against it we could try to get one until T110. Opinions?

Border deal seems reasonable. If we want, we could try to get more, but I'm not sure we would be settling in this region within next 40T anyway.

What's in it for us? That border deal just amounts to them settling all along our existing borders while we stop all expansion in their direction. Why should we sign away all that land? I would like a city 1E of ivory, or maybe something in the north instead.

T110 is when our NAP with M3 ends. When does the TEAM NAP end? We should keep them staggered.
