Uberfish to be fair. I started with that idea and I am still convinced by it. I dont see any bad from lynching Novice even if he turns out to be down since wer losing that item. But maybe your right and im over hyping it or your trying to lower its importance.. Novice throwing the item to another scum tonight can be bad thou. We wont know if he keeps it either. Since we have no idea where the other items are. I wanna hear from the rest aswell ya.

well, lost my vote post from 5-6 hours ago.

I do follow Rowain's logically 6 options. Given that I detest day 1's craziness, lynching novice seems to have the least net downside to it (absent other useful data).
I'm at a loss where my vote would do the best good at the moment. Tasunke is too obvious, right?

@Ryan: being new villager is hard. being new wolf is easy - just act new.
don't sweat the criticism - its all in the game though, right?

@village: items
I'm wondering if its even good to pass items at this point. Wolves are just going to hoard them and they can correlate their uses. Oh - if anyone has a poison arrow they'd like to pass me, I'd appreciate it smile

Serdoa after last game, im willing to vote for 48 hours of mayoral fun.

Well, Tasunke's post in the signup thread did annoy me. I had just received my role PM at the time, and I assume the same was the case for him. So I think it's quite inappropriate to post something like that then, in that thread. Once the roles are assigned, the game is on, and the game should be played in the game thread - not anywhere else.

That said, I agree a mod-kill would be a harsh reaction for Tasunke, and in hindsight it was perhaps an unkind request to make. For the town, though, a random mod-kill isn't a bad thing. (If all lynches were random, town would generally win; scum need to influence the lynches in their favor in order to win.) So I was not bullshitting about accepting the mod-kill. And now that Tasunke is on the block, a mod-kill would obviously be great, as it would effectively be a double lynch.

Anyway, even if I was annoyed by the joke I think it's a null tell. The reason I'm voting Tasunke is that I thought he made a real scum slip in among all of the fake ones, as noted here:

In that case, it would make perfect sense as a scum ploy. Nothing more dangerous than a fool card running amok that people thought was destroyed.

You lost me. Novice is scum, and lynching him will somehow convince us that the fool tarot card has been destroyed??

(January 4th, 2013, 06:05)zakalwe Wrote: Actually, that sounds a lot like Tasunke was trying to cook up a logical argument for why Novice is scum, and then unwittingly letting his knowledge that Novice will flip innocent creep in.

Tasunke

Nobody else has commented on this, though. (And I'm still waiting for Tasunke's retort, too.) Anyone?
If you know what I mean.

Great. smile
The links on the index page are broken, but I found the generated documents.
Feature request: Replace the relative urls in the Post # links with absolute urls, so we can navigate from the scraper and back to a post's context.

Ryan: It's a page that copies (scrapes) all posts from this thread and organizes them by user.
I have to run.
