WW 19 Game Thread - Mobster Mayhem - GAME OVER

First ww game, 11 I think. Was civ based. I was Julius Caesar with a 1 shot double vote, which I foolishly used on day 1 in an attempt to save myself. My running mate was jkaen and he won by two votes, one of which was my secret vote. I then revealed what I did on day2 I think, but might have Been night1 actually

I told you guys that Rowain was just being Rowain. I can't believe you guys let the scum get away with that.

I don't think I've ever been right about Rowain when I think he's a bad guy... rolleye

In other words you want to shoot one of those on rowain?
If you are going to vote in this way, name your suspects and explain why you want them dead.

(As I write this I realise the hypocrisy, so: Ryan feels a bit like BRick did WW15, newbie wolf overcompensating with the incessant questions and then latching onto the novice wagon and propagating it, distracting the village in general to the meta-discussion on the card. That said, he IS clearly new to forum WW so I'm not entirely sure how to read him.
Azza: General lurkiness plus piggybacking on a wagon without getting involved in the discussion (of course I could also include Bigger and Merovech in this group bang ))

I'm lurking? Let's go through who has less posts than me.

Azza - 13 (including this one)
uberfish - 12
Bigger - 10
waterbat - 6
Matiimeo - 3

Lynching me for lurking is absurd.

Mat has given a reason (he is afk), uberfish's posts are more useful, Bigger has made it a policy to lurk D1 (a policy I disagree with, but he's normally more active D2-3) and I had actually forgotten waterbat was playing bang

Do you have anything to contribute azza?

Tasunke has to be scum, IMO. He's been feeding disinformation, red herrings and is actively hindering efforts to catch scum whether it's deliberate on his part or not.

Pindicator and Merovech both popped up immediately after the reveal. Were they secretly online and just observing the whole thing, making sure things work out in their favour?

MJW tried to jump off Tasunke very late. If either of these two flipped scum the other would be pretty heavily implicated.

Ryan could've been attempting to distance himself by voting Tasunke. He did say that he didn't think there was enough time for the Tasunke wagon to be a credible threat. (quoted in spoiler)

I like Serdoa's scum hunting method. I see a very strong parallel between this game and last.

Selrahc's last minute vig-vote proposal gives me a slight village lean on him. It doesn't feel like a scum action, why bring up a proposal like that at the last minute if you're in a fight to save yourself. Having said that, I don't agree with the proposal.

Had another thought RE Tasunke while writing this post, I'll post it in the next post to make it clearer.

Tasunke posted this with 4 minutes left til the deadline. So while he had no time to revenge vote me for the lynch, he instead puts my name forward as a vigilante target. He gives no reason, and his only justification on this page.

As I demonstrated, this is objectively false. Furthermore, this is being used as a justification from the person who spams his ass off with random pointless bullshit. It's an attempt to paint his spam as inherently pro-town by painting those who post less as being lurking scum.

I was not online. I went off for just under an hour for appetizers because I had family over. I've actually never used the "Invisible User" feature on RB for anything-I'm not about to use it here.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.
