Show me please the post in which Rowain states that he thinks claiming the card was scum. You won't find it. He only ever stated that it could be as well a scum-ploy as a villager-play.
That's my point exactly. He wanted to lynch me even though he didn't think I was more likely than anybody else to be scum. And we showed him why getting rid of the Fool card was unimportant. It was just a terrible stance.
As for the rest of your post, I'm not going to get into a mathematics debate with you Serdoa. Neither of us would enjoy it. I'm just going to have to take your word for it that you believe in your own understanding of probability.
Has nothing to do with probability. If I don't know if a result is correct it doesn't help me to know that 90% of the results I get are correct. I still don't know if the one I am talking about is correct. Not sure what is so hard to understand about that.
As for the rest: I ask again, you realize that he switched away from you when a better target surfaced? And as long as no better target surfaces, it certainly is best to get rid of the card. Not sure what would be so hard to grasp about that either tbh. Everyone is equally likely to be scum but novice holds a shitty item for the village. Hm, what would be the best lynch? Well, without the card EVERYONE would be as good as the other. But with the card, you step up a notch and get the best target.
1) Scum with PR
2) Scum with card
3) Scum
4) Villager with card
5) Villager
6) Villager with PR
Listed from best to worst lynch. Everyone has equal chances to be any of those, except point 4 which no one can be (besides you). Except for you, you have only chances to be 1 through to 4. Why should I not lynch you if there is nothing else to go on?

tasunke has 2 votes BEFORE I switched to Rowain. He had only 1 vote (I think, mattimeo) after I switched. I really thought his lynch was a lost cause at that point :/.
my sleep schedule is very erratic, has been for months. Comes with unemployment, I guess :/ I have trouble predicting when I'll be awake more than 1 day out.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

You know, I am normally a really kind, nice guy who might be a little bit stubborn. But you are really doing your best to get us both in a pissing contest again, same as last game. Where you were scum.
Oh, and as I said so often: Attack the argument, no my person. If you can't, you should consider that the argument has more merit than you want to give it.

Serdoa Wrote:Why do you state that Rowain only wanted to lynch the card-holder, where is the evidence for this?
What was his other argument against Novice? He wanted to lynch Novice because of the revealed card.
This is getting incredibly semantic here.
Statement 1: Rowain wanted to lynch Novice.
Statement 2: The reason Rowain gave for this was based on the revealed fool card.
Statement 3: Rowain viewed the fool card reveal as a possible wolf ploy.
Statement 4: Rowain also viewed lynching a villager with a fool card as acceptable (within a numbered scale of lynch acceptability!).
Do you have a problem with any of those statements Serdoa?

Someone pointed out that tasunke was down to 2 votes at the time of bigger's post. If true, that explains a lot - the outstanding question would be 'why didn't bigger log back in and switch back to tasunke. Knowing that bigger's been keeping closer to lewwyn's sleep schedule than that of a normal CST resident, I wouldn't be surprised if he was sleeping then.
But obviously, someone stating 'I prefer X over Y, but I'm going to vote Y' is going to raise eyebrows when Y ends up beating X by 1 vote.
Dont have much to add, so haven't been posting much. Those that i have played with should see that is an obvious tell on my alignment.

Re: qgqqqq telling Ryan his posts are making heads spin. That's some serious irony.
At least I always referenced what the post was.

If you read all posts as carefully as that of pindicator I certainly understand now your ridiculous stance about Rowain.
Whatever, that doesn't mean you have to be intentionally cryptic. Could you just answer the question then:

I'll also say: If the gun doesn't start villager hands, then nothing we discuss about it has any relevance at all. So there isn't much point including it in discussions about what to do with the gun.
It's like ending a meeting with "Also, we could all drop dead of a heart attack, so this could all be completely meaningless."
Although hum. Now that I'm thinking about it, I suppose there are some things it has influence on. If the scum start with the gun, but we start giving them targets... then by playing along with the targets they can fake the gun being in villager hands, while obviously not going along with a wolf kill. That gives them a measure of protection from an item seer. If we as a village say that using the vig shot is a hostile act, and then somebody uses it, and then the gun is found with an item scan... then we catch a wolf. So I guess it does have some bearing on planning.
I hope the wolves don't have the gun. That would be insane.
