Bull in a China shop

RE: Mythbusters episode on the China shop.

That totally wasn't realistic at all. They didn't bring a bull into a shop, they put props in a corral. Bulls fucking LOVE corrals. Of COURSE they will behave in one.

However ... surround them in 4 walls, a door they can barely fit through, and you will have hell on earth. Anyone should know that putting a bull in a china shop would result in the deaths of at least the bull, and probably several people as well. Claustrophobia/Fear is a much greater incentive to the saying (and the destructiveness of the real situation) than the mere presence of plate-wear/ china. Imho

didn't think about that. Send the comments to MythBusters smile I'm sure they would love to revisit it at some time - I mean, the chance to get a bull to destroy things?

Unless, of course, the bull would actually die...

Well, the way to keep the bull from dying, imho, would be to make the shop a large enclosed room, tranq the bull first, move him in, then close the (slightly larger) door, or possibly garage sized door. Then wait for him to wake up, and have a second tranq ready for soon after he starts to go crazy.

Probably couldn't be a real china shop (although, with proper caution, might be possible. Would definitely need the vet team n tranq ready at all times)

If make a 'fake' china shop, would have to be as real as possible with the following exceptions

1. larger door for easy access to bull/ getting the bull in and out of the shop while tranqed

2. Padded Walls (and door?) No reason for the bull to damage himself, especially if we can control the environment (since we are building it). Actually, even if in a real china shop, padding the walls (and possibly bolting a mattress to the door) might be a good idea.

3. Lights on the ceiling, but no windows. (Instead of windows, we could have minor slits for those with the tranqs to be able to get a shot off on the bull once he starts going crazy. If a real china shop, might want to put shades over the windows, so the bull doesn't get the idea to crash through).

4. If all else fails, pick a Bull that's going to die anyways (whether b/c it has some incurable disease, or some other reason)

I suppose, in theory, one could also set up a "fake" china shop with all four walls and a microdoor that, after experimental results are received, would drop one wall and thereby allow the bull to "escape" into a corral.

Set up a opening roof, tranquilize the bull and lower it in with a helicopter.
