"So now we was down to just the three, Frank, Jake, and Antonio. They were deadbeat tired from the ordeal, Frank was snoozin half of the time anyways. it came down to him and Antonio, with Jake casting the last vote. He ended up flipping a coin, it got heads, so he took Frank's off. Of course, when those two left went to look through his room, they found one more set of papers. They knew that they had got the rest of them, and those damn Snitches were finally wiped out.
Big Al came and congratulated them, but you could tell he was worn all down with so many of his men dead. He's still got me though, so let's see what we can do when we get back to Chicago." Epilouge: After the informers were wiped out, Big Al and the few men he had left returned to Chicago and resumed operations as best as they could. Al's operations continued to be successful for the next few years until the Feds finally nailed him on tax evasion. While the incident of the Grand Rapids Hotel hurt his operation seriously, since all of the informers were caught, it had not been completely ruined. Azza was lynched. He was a Snitch. He was holding no items. All Snitches have been killed, so the Loyal Mobsters win! Serdoa and uberfish get extra honors for surviving until the end. Yay, my first endgame win as town! That took 2 days longer than it should have
GG all, and well played Serdoa in particular - We had a lot of mislynches, but that was probably inevitable with 2 scum dying to vigs. And honestly... all the lurkers really had to die this game. Thanks Brick for GMing too, I know dealing with item rulings must have to be pretty tough. Off to the lurker thread! I mean apart from him having the lockpicks? Btw Azza, the post above is what killed you in the end. At the point of the above postings we had enough votes on Selrahc, you and Merovech that I could lynch either of you. And when I asked for a reason why I should not lynch you instead of Merovech, zaks answer basically gave away your alignment, after we knew that he was scum. I just had forgotten that post and only rediscovered it today when re-reading. Well, and also not killing uberfish but MJW. Why didn't you btw? Was it because of my request not to shoot him? I made that solely for the reason that you had to take into account that he has the can, so I'd be happy if that actually worked.
Well bollocks. I have no idea how I survived so long despite being under pressure pretty much every single day.
A couple of thoughts; I seriously fucked up the Ryan thing. It was completely out of character, poorly worded, and was based on not much. I struggled with motivation at times during this game, and when things got a bit busier IRL I just dropped off the map completely. This is a big part of why I kept uberfish alive. I was going off stuff a couple of days old, thinking he was still suspicious. I literally lay down in bed last night and thought "oh shit I haven't sent any kill orders", panicked, checked who was still alive and sent the order. Night 1 was just about the worst possible result for scum. Created two confirmed villagers, both of whom were notably strong players, and we lost a scum member on top of that. Really set us back big time, and we never recovered. Thanks for the game Brick, and well played all. |
