Thank you!

But I note that our GNP is quite a bit lower in-game, since you forgot to put us back to 100% science.

ETA: Fixed now. At 100% science.

I certainly have not touched the science slider.

Isn't this our 1turn of <100% finish currency?

Well, the new demos are interesting. The Spanish whipped away 3 pop (2+1), going from 18 pop to 15. So far so good. Rival global power fell with 2000.

They whipped away a total of 147000 population, implying one 7->5 whip and one 2->1 whip (another fit is one 8->7 whip and one 4->2 whip, but I've seen no unknown size 7 or 8 city on the top cities screen for the last few turns, and the whip efficiency would be quite bad. On the other hand, the 2->1 whip would be in a city that was founded T76, so why isn't it larger?).

But it's the other stuff that's interesting, particularly the rival worst values:

Production 25 -> 21
Food 55 -> 47

Ie, they've whipped away at least 8F 4H with those three civizens! Of interest is also that the rival average GNP increased, due to lowered costs I presume, so they must have abandoned some non-commerce-generating tiles.

No. We put that as the last turn of the Currency run. If in doubt, look at Sullla's turn report.

T91 - 600 BC

Cliff's Notes: WPC built a dog soldier. The Spanish grew 2 pop, researched an ancient tech, and then settled their fifth city for 18 total pop; I also guess they built an impi. Apolyton grew 1 pop, settled their sixth city, and double-whipped for 28 total pop. CivFr grew 1 pop to 36, researched a classical tech, and received some land points. CivPlayers grew 2 pop, up to 27, and are the new leader in claimed land. CFC grew the city of Lana to 5, to 33 total pop. Univers grew 1 pop, up to 36.

Demos:

TeamScore changePopTechLand
RB92 (+1; 41 total)7 (Tree Huggers)
Spanish115 (+2; 17 total)6 (1 ancient)
Apolyton33 (+1; 29 total)
CivFr173 (+1; 36 total)12 (1 classical)2 (City E)
CivPlayers55 (+2; 27 total)
CFC33 (+1; 33 total)
Univers33 (+1; 36 total)

We have a large increase in rival best GNP and large increases in food output. F8 analysis after Apolyton played their turn gave a total of 7 new pop, which became 8 when factoring in their new city and double-whip. Since the only new claimed land from T71 were from CivFr's fifth city, this breaks down fairly easily.

Rival total power rose with 21000, and rival worst from 50000 to 55000. Rival best didn't change. APTmod data indicates that WPC increased their power with 6000 to 129000, noted down as a dog soldier for now, and that CFC's power didn't change. Power from pop increased with 4000 (1000 each to the Spanish, CivFr, CivPlayers, and Univers), so I note down an impi for the Spanish (rival worst). That leaves 6000 for tech and other units.

The claimed land increased with 9000, and the new rival best is at 115000. APTmod data indicates that it's not the Germans (they're not due for a second-ring border pop, and F8 for T90 shows they're far away from a third-ring one) or WPC. It might be CFC, but Terasvin should have claimed its third ring T89.

CivFr grew one of their two size 1 cities to size 2, probably their sixth one (settled T78), and CFC grew the city of Lana to size 5. I've bolded those cities we have some form of visibility on (via top cities screen or the map) in the pop tracking sheet.

The Spanish researched an ancient tech in 7t, and CivFr a classical one in 7t. I note down a very tentative Masonry for the Spanish and an equally tentative Calendar for CivFr.

CivPlayers

F8 gives us an entirely different picture now than last turn. Claimed land shows 4% for CivPlayers, so they hold at least 114 tiles. Since Tlaxcala expanded their borders this turn, this handily solves the problem of the new rival best in land.

CivPlayers also show up in the legendary tracking: Tenochtitlan (capital) has 369; Teotihuacan (second) has 183; and Tlatelolco has 66. 36 turns of a holy city gives 180 culture, so Teotihuacan is the Buddhist holy city. Tlatelolco is probably the Confucian holy city. The religion was founded on T66, but CivPlayers didn't adopt Buddhism as their state religion until T76 or T77.

CivPlayers has contact with the Germans, but no-one else we know. Note also that CivPlayers has adopted both OR and HR, so I change around their estimated tech path:

Masonry on T69. Polytheism on T72. BW on T79. Monotheism on T83.

Apolyton

Apolyton settled their sixth city this turn, and then performed a double-whip, ending up at 28 pop (the same as last turn). The city claimed 9 land tiles, and rival total population fell with 68000. This means a new city combined with a 5->3 whip.

Spanish

The Spanish settled their fifth city as well, going to 18 pop. This increased the rival worst power with 1000, and we have a marked increase in rival average GNP and food output. The city claimed 9 land tiles, and the new rival worst in land is now at 88000 (up from 80000). This means that the Spanish now holds 89000 in land.

GNP analysis indicates the following known techs among our neighbours:

Archery (WPC)
Meditation (CivPlayers)
Masonry (CivPlayers and CFC)
Code of Laws (CivPlayers)
Monarchy (CivPlayers)

No surprises there.

Another thing that might be important. Another team has passed us in power. WPC passed us on T89 after they had dropped below us after the German clobbering, but now another team has at least 117000 in power.

In the worst case, it's CivPlayers, but we won't get graphs on them until at least T102.

CFC performed a 1-pop whip in Terasvin before ending their turn, going from size 7 to 6. After the whip, it had 60H in the box, so I assume the city already had 30H invested into something, or is the sabotage value capped to the value of the item being whipped?

ETA: Rival best approval rate also shrank with this whip, from 63 to 62, implying it's CFC who is that right now.
