Adventure 35 Ronald's report

I have been trying to improve my space races lately. This small game comes in handy to prctice somew more.

In the beginning, I started relatively wonder heavy": Pyramids, Colossus, Great Lighthouse, Great Library.

1000 BC looks like this:

in 1AD, all cities are founded and the last are starting to get productive:

You hit Future Tech before the spaceship arrived? Sounds like production was the bottleneck rather than research. I also see a 5-turn diversion to Robotics in your tech list. I pretty much never go for that tech; the Space Elevator doesn't recoup nearly as much time as it takes to research.

Thanks for the report, and more data to analyze regarding tech paths smile

Thanks for the information regarding the space elevator. I hope I can see more tech paths to understand the different research patterns. I obviously have to learn a lot to get real fast launch times.

Wow, I had all my cities on exactly the same spots! Different order though.

The locations where close to mine also. It seems like the large city planning was pretty set in stone by the map. If I looked corrected two cities were one tile different then mine.

I am working on a spreadsheet comparing the different tech paths and dates. Should be ready in one of the next days.

Wow, thanks! I was planning to do just that, so that's very helpful!

When posting, there's a button "Manage Attachments" below the text editor box. Click on that and hopefully you can work it out from there. Looks like it doesn't take Excel files directly, but it should work if you zip it first.

Next step is to create a crossreference lookup with the beaker values for the techs. I want to graph the progress in beaker count throughout the game. smile If you like Excel monkeying, go for it, or I'll work on it myself in a day or two.
