Assuming everything goes the optimal way, roughly at what turn would you expect to have your two peninsulas settled (withour crashing your economy)?

[spoilers] Commodore: Worse than Toku, it's Giggles of Siam!

It's a case of worker support (western) vs. prebuilt city (eastern Angle). Probably Angle in 10-15 turns? This is, ironically, about the time frame for the Taoism bulb so let's see.

Commodore:
My bad for not mentioning this earlier: Last time I was in game there was an offer from Spacetyranxenu 3gpt for horses. He happened to be in game at the time and said it was his counteroffer to your trade. I told him I wasn't empowered to conduct trade negotiations. 3gpt seems a bit cheap, but if he doesn't have HBR yet horses aren't all that valuable to him.

Oh-ho! That explains things, I wondered why he hadn't counter-offered. I'll toss a 4gpt for horse offer. Not worth much to him, and we have 4, plus why not prop him up? Those big, distant cities will be juicy with OB.

So I peeked back in, and Xenu accepted my offer for 43 gold for our horses. So I can look into it more next turn, but I think we can start teching Alphabet either next turn or the turn after. Foreign trade routes, and ideally going through Xenu to meet Plako/Adhoc for foreign overseas trade routes. We need to clear Alphabet before bulbing anyway, so the sooner the better.

Looks like we need another turn of gold saving, and then some wealth builds, to 2-turn Alphabet. Worth it for OB. Worth it: Marketplace in Lakeside Garden. That's going up to eleven next turn when the freshman picks up our town from Tranquil Meadow.
Aesthetics is still a "want" but right now it's going to be close to get to the "need" of CoL in time for the Philosophy bulb (and no, delaying would not be wise). Slowcheetah continues his domination with the Paya, which actually makes me feel better about the Parthenon...he's able to avoid religious techs now. Twelve turns to see if we get our own religion. Expenses are getting pretty crazy. Stony Knob came out of revolt, and it is costing an arm and a leg. Fortunately, it needs little worker labor and can pump and awesome 13hpt at size four, while still growing once a lighthouse comes online. Definite courthouse candidate, though. We need a forbidden palace soon. Interesting wrinkle in the Angle invasion plan, looks like the barbs have a navy of their own to make things interesting. The fleet I have moving north slowly will offload and take the 2:1 odds of beating off the attack. I need that capture gold in the CoL timeframe! Although maybe waiting until after the RNG picks a holy city would be best... After Philosophy? Let's look at a Lit run vs. Nationalism vs. Machinery (MC/Civil Service are given).

Well all this sounds great and all, but I want to know what you're doing about those 2 points!
PS: Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Seriously, if this was base BtS I'd be carefully whipping away big 3-pop chunks everywhere. The name of the game is score suppression, this is still an intensely competitive game and I'd like to keep quiet about my potential for a while longer. From your comments on teching speed I take it you haven't looked at our breakeven tech pace recently. We could 5t CoL at breakeven on t127, so no worries getting alph/col in time for the GS. We might even have time to shoehorn in MC. A forge in the Cap would be sexy.
Speaking of the capital, we'll need either another archer or Hinduism spread + swap to Hindu in time for our 14th pop point. (likely another archer for #15, 16/17 can be kept happy with a forge, 18/19 can be kept happy with silks. pop point #20 can be kept happy with an eventual temple. If we bag Taoism, we can add a second temple to keep #21 happy. We won't have the food/health to reach size 22 in any kind of reasonable timeframe so we can figure out something along the way.
