[SPOILERS] Cornflakes and Q Eat 'Em for Breakfast!

The scientists is only for this one turn.

RE barb city ... I haven't really re-evaluated it. We can't capture until it grows, and it doesn't hurt any to wait before razing. I'll give it more thought tomorrow. Right now I'm headed for bed ... quick thought though is that we need the axe/spear from that area back along the northern 2metra border, and capturing the city would stretch us thin.

Where exactly should the worker (or both workers) from the pigs move next turn? Since we'll have a missionary spreading Confu on the turn we found we should be able to maintain controll of our first-ring tiles.

One on the pig should move onto the forest N, NW of it, with the impi moving to defend.
The other should move to chop into moai.

Did you mean to change Potos to a worker?
While I appreciate the need for one, this kind've kills the settler plan...

Also now that we're back to the azza site - which?
1S or not?

Oh and I'm not sure about the missionary - I think probably just send it straight to Sheep, then next one to Azzarian corn, next to Dyes city.

Now, where do we want the monuments to come from?
I think sheep is a definite candidate, followed by Blimp (being built) but where for the third?

I sapped to wealth with the worker, sorry if this disrupts your plans frown

Hmm I'm actually wondering if settling for horses is such a good idea...
Firstly we're going to have to invade azza for iron anyway (I'm thinking maces or rifles...) and with that in mind the cost is quite clear - we're antagonising a neighbour that long term we're going to have the biggest border with and who already has the tools for a ger infused knight invasion.
Not only that the city is not coastal (only 2 trade routes) and gains us nothing besides horses.

Gah now I'm not sure what we want to do...

This was waiting for me.

I countered with ...

I offered sugar for furs to Jowy. If Commodore accepts the above deal for stone we won't gain anything from this trade until after the 10-turns is up, but it's still good because it'll prevent Jowy from trading it away somewhere else.

2metra actually settled with horses first ring. That area is clearly out of the question now. But this means he's beginning to stretch his forces in the area rather thin.

Here's what I see:
– 3 cities that can get forked from 1 tile
– a relatively easy connection via forts to our core (surprise element because 2metra will only get 1-turn of warning)
– 8 maces on 4 galleys would play havoc among these 3 coastal cities. 2 at least would fall.
– the western border/horses city would be easy pickings after our initial forking attack.

1) research MC (get in 4 turns), followed by CS (bureaucracy) > Literature (Heroic Epick is unlocked) > Machinery (Maces)
2) Start working scientists full time in Porcupine. We'll get a GP in about 25 turns that we can use for a GA swap of civics and religion.
3) put up forges everywhere
4) Build HE in Porcupine as soon as it's unlocked
5) build a total of 4 galleys that can head east.
6) whip a couple maces as soon as we tech Machinery.

Since TT is on we'll have to strike AS SOON as we get the tech for Maces. I think it's worth the investment. 2metra is really crowding us in around our north. The attack will also give us 2 crippled neighbors, allowing us to expand northwards between them, while maintaining our borders with AT and Commodore in the South as-is.

If you disagree about the warpath Items 1-4 (minus prioritizing machinery) should still be our general plan for the next 25 turns.

Got a lol out of the top item in the event log this turn lol

A great engineer was also born somewhere, and Confu spread to SWAT (silks city frown which means his culture will be coming even faster there)

I disagree.
(I do think a city raze of that city is viable though - we can combo the two impis in the area for a quick raze versus his chariot)
In the mace era we already have a target that we need to go after (zombie for iron +horses and gold as boni) so I think this divides us overmuch.,
That's where we want to target ASAP, as there is a benefit.
Besides, he'll see it coming (20 worker turns in forts anyone) and it won't be theat easily conquerable then.
We don't want another opponent like we for out of the azza war in metra (a skilled lobbyist) and I also worry about the costit'll take.
Instead we could press our claim into that area with a city for the cows (or horses if we attack) and block him off.
I don't think Wed earn a death enemy out of a opportunistic raze, while an operation like you're proposing would undoubtedly cost us.

At this point we really need to know WHERE ARE WE SETTLING HIM??
AZZA CORN OR SHARES THE PIG???
Sorry for emphasis but we've missed this twice now.
