RB PBEM #1 - Gandhi [spoilers]

Currency will look like it costs 213 beakers instead of 267 beakers (Quick speed adjusts everything by 2/3). The 20% is a discount, not a beaker booster. It is slightly (3.3%) better from a math(s) standpoint than a 20% beaker boost.

No, I think my maths is correct.

Currency is 400 (normal speed) beakers.

According to the link I provide before ...

Requirements modifier = 1 + (0.2 * MINIMUM Req. met) + (0.2 * # of Optional Prereq. met)

So Req Modifier = 1.4 (1.2 if you don't have maths).

Beakers applied to Technology = FLOOR (FLOOR ((Total Base Beakers + 1) * KCwT modifier) * Prerequisites modifier)

So, to generate 400 beakers with a prereq modifier of 1.2 requires

Total Base Beakers / 1.2 or 333 beakers for Currency.

Up that to 1.4 and it is

Total Base Beakers / 1.4 or 286 beakers for Currency.

GP [4] - 50/50 Priest / Spy

I accepted the Alphabet for Maths+Myst trade with sooooo.
I also traded Maths for Med+Poly with Dreylin.
Rats - cannot trade for Monarchy for ages due to having to remove prereq - LQ is going to be unhappy for 2 to 3 turns - totally got that wrong.

Here is the tech situation at the start of my turn ...

Sooooo got archery from someone this turn - he cannot trade for it. BUT what is going on with sailing and Dreylin. He shows as not wanting it, but can research it and I have it. Why can't I trade it to him?

Summary Tech Haul ...
- Alphabet (from sooooo)
- Meditation (from Dreylin)
- Polytheism (from Dreylin)
- Monotheism (from Dreylin next turn)
- PRiesthood (from Dreylin next turn)
- Monarchy (from Athlete when I can)

oh - and sooooo has 2(!) settlers basically in place for next turn, jumping from 2 cities to 4. One of which is the DV agreed city.

Regarding Dreylin and Sailing [he shows as not wanting it, but can research it and I have it. Why can't I trade it to him?]

I guess he has just trade for the (only one) prerequise (fishing) and you have to wait for next turn to have it in the "want" list. (same as in SP game I guess, where you need 1t delay to trade for the next column tech after getting a tech by trade)
