Ok. Steady as she goes. I take it that you're not a gambler by nature. Too bad, I think that it would be massively interesting and the lurker thread's pretty dead.

If TT doesn't accept that trade, and you want him to land the GLib over Cornflakes, we could trade tech for marble. We'd probably lose any chance at the Parthenon of course. But an engineer could then land Zeus. Actually I just noticed that the marble is not hooked up yet. That should be a priority. We could sell that for tech probably on a rotating basis as everyone's going to want their Heroic Epics.

Are we building libraries before lighthouses?

We are building lighthouses most everywhere before libraries (cheaper, more food).

in CHiPS, we are building a lib first.

My plan:

1) trade for Aesthetics
2) If we can't trade for Lit, research it - it's very valuable as it is.
3) Hook up marble.
4) IF we get an engineer, move the engineer to CHI, see if we can get the GLib.

lit is useful enough that it's worth the distraction, as I see it.

if we cannot trade for Aesthetics (and we might not be able to), I dunno what we do, I'll probably go a different route - I'm not researching Lit AND Aesthetics - I'll probably go Feudalism or CS at that point.

I had thought that cornflakes did a worker steal on 2metra, but i think he burned a city early - I found ruins near him. heavens.

right now, I'm seriously hoping for an engineer that I can use to snake the GLib. I think it would hilarious to beat the guy with pyramids, the philo guy AND a industrious guy, all of whom got their first, to that wonder.

I dunno if an engineer is right, mind you, but it would be hilarious.

I don't see him as any threat - he still has a lot of land to expand into and, in fact, he has holes in his land. I may, in fact, turn NYPD Blue on to a settler, just because it's our best hammer site.

Also note: Jowy built SoZ, so I'm completely convinced Jowy is no threat - SoZ is a defensive wonder, not an offensive one. If he was attacking, he would have sunk the hammers into elephants.

I whipped in the dog and the trireme down south - dog will overflow into a missionary for CHiPS.

Also, spread buddhism into SWAT and chopped a forest - between them, that overflows into a 1turn monastery, which will give us 4 culture in that city, or more than Blimp is putting out. Pigs for dinner, baby!!

I have Magnum on a forge - the boost in hammers will help a lot for other whip builds later.

Current plan:

CS in 2. Revolt to Bureau. Maybe trade it out for calendar+ a lot of stuff. Not too cornflakes - have to figure out whether we sell it to commodore.
Get a missionary in CHiPS. Save up overflow in wealth. When we get Marble online, overflow into the GLib. Maybe we get it, maybe we just get fail gold - either way is fine (wonder is better, of course).
Get a couple more settlers out.

yes. We have a rule where we can ask people to go to war or ask them to stop trading in a trade.
