Yes WIFOM draft and the slave Castle. That city will be pretty useless without HR for a long time.

Main reason to delay would be drafting. We could use 6 more drafted units.

Ok, I didn't think we'd switch out of Nationalism. Maybe just adopt HR as soon as we can, and stay in HR/NH/Slavery/OR until the end of the golden age?

Just a note - if we happen to lose OTR and thus stone, let's make sure the castle in WIFOM is 2-whippable, otherwise we'll have to choose between drafting and whipping the castle (3-whipping the castle is best in that case).

We could tech Feudalism and switch from NH to vassalage. Staying in NH sounds ok, too.

I was thinking Vassalage too, but it is probably safer to continue on Nationhood and just convert to HR now and tech HBR to have access to reasonable mobile unit that can flank cats.

btw. I'm moving our workers so that in case we get an opening to counter attack there would be 4 of them close by the potential areas to take advantage of the situation. This means they're mainly roading useless tiles here and there, but with this drafting/slaving era we really don't need much new improved tiles.

One other thing is that they don't seem to want to pillage so they probably try to keep what they've captured. Good for us.

Gillette has Compass now. I think we should rely on land units we now have. Gunpowder and Guilds would be great, but I think we can do without and having access to Caravels would be good idea and we either can beat them there or get it at the same turn.
