dang. i was going to pause when I played (3 1/2 hours left) but I thought xenu was logged in.
Now that I look at civ stats I see he was bumped (logged in and immediately out) and I should have paused it.

Yeah, I just tried to log in to see if I could from this laptop, wasn't able to. So when the turn rolled that was a missed turn. Thanks for requesting the reload, plako.

Apparently no one was there to pause. Next player in position to log in please pause and don't play. Scooter in case you want to login to check things out, please use some different login name so that we can use your save as a basis for reload. I'll send reload request to Sunrise.

Sunrise is gonna reload this evening - Presumably within next 12h. He is going to use Scooter's login save so there is not much time left in the timer. Pausing the game is good idea.

Hey guys, just a heads up (and possible call to action): My business trip has been extended by two days, so now I won't be coming home until basically midnight my time on Monday night. So I can't play anything until Tuesday AM.

Lurkers -- can ANYONE play a few turns for me? It's unreasonable for a non-contender like myself to hold up the game for most of a week. If I can get someone to log in and shuffle the deck chairs around for me I'll provide general instructions on what is going on. Hint: it's almost like getting an update from me! Any takers?

I don't know what's going on but I've had zero response so far about getting someone to play for me. No one wants to play as a third rate civ for a fourth rate player.
