Due to various other tourneys and team games starting at the same time I havent been as focussed on this one as I did last round, and I think its shown, I dont think I even raised a challenge before Gustaran blew me away twice

Yeah, you giving away a full rook against regoarrarr made me wonder what's going on... and I actually counted on you to get at least one draw against pindicator. Now I had to play some crazy gambit because I need to get a full point if I want to win the tournament for sure (pindicator vs waterbat is still being played though, go waterbat! )
And sorry that I blundered away my position against Pindicator too....

Actually pindicator bribed us to let him win
Seriously that endgame was annoying because I thought I'd completely outplayed Rego up until Rc2??

Yeah you played really well. I was hoping to just hang on for a draw but a pawn down to a better player I wasn't holding my breath...

Well, a draw against pindicator is still a very good result though I guess you already know that your position was totally winning...Still, 1/2 a point against pindicator is now sufficient for me as long as I manage to beat Yuri in my last game.

1. It's probably not a secret if I mention that your passed pawn on a3 provides ample compensation.
2. I don't trust Jkaen , I feel he is the "Ivanchuk" of Realms Beyond.
He has a chess mentor rating of 1900+ (higher than mine) and is capable of playing 40 moves of great chess. Unfortunately, on move 41 the next round of one of his other tournaments starts which adds 10+ games to his schedule and he ends up doing things like self-trapping his queen...

I think I was in ok shape in our game until I missed the fork. Maybe I don't miss anything this time

Absolutely, the position was very balanced. If neither of us misses any cheap tactics we might draw this one.

sitting at looking at some of the finished games ... don't quite see why the pin/reg is a draw ...
