Our turnplayer assures me that although the missionary took time along the way to spread the holy word to locals, he was sure to perform his mission in <Cityname> at the earliest possible turn he could have done so, no matter how much he hurried. If you prefer, next time we can tell him to spare not a glance for the peasantry.
Sounds good to me. As for their reply, I'm perfectly happy to let them take cities in the frozen north. An equitable share of the war gains to me is WPC gets tundra and we take everything else. Then we smash their army in the field in a backstab for the ages and wipe them out too.

I would just not reply to this.

Yeah, they're just pointing out that they caught us. Not sure a reply is worth it...

Agree. Brush it off. They're being silly. Don't mention anything, don't draw attention to it, don't act guilty. Because we're not.

We are not as guilty as they think, but they don't know that. Ignoring people's complaints about you is a terrible way to maintain a friendship. They are not being "silly". They think we are delaying their religious spreads in order to explore their territory, which would be incredibly lame of us.

Better to drop this as an issue. It's only going to look worse if we feel the need to write back and start explaining things. WPC has already committed themselves to us, they aren't going to suddenly refuse to work together over something as trivial as missionary movements.

It reads as a playful joke to me. I don't think there's any need to give a super serious reply to it or worry about it.

Agreed. Something like ... ?
Quote:Yeah - we told him where to go but you know these missionary types - they just like to stop and chat. He did point out that he couldn't have done it any quicker ... something about needing some energy to actually bring religion to a new city.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.
