For Dave, who hates pretty things:
Interesting turn, for the last one of the golden age. Brick is going for the Zulu Jr. plot of fleeing to the east; a bit less of a massive scale I'm thinking. GM was born, as normal. Bigger announced to all and sundry that's he's aiming for a Culture Win.
So this was fun:
Saving gold is for chumps. Next turn, we cash bomb the Zulu. I'll miss the golden age, though.

I've never quite understood the ferry trick. Embarked units with 0 move can still transfer from ship to ship?

No, I like pretty things as much as the next guy. I just don't like pretending my mosaic is a sand painting.
Plus, I make more than enough bad moves already without introducing another potential source of error.

We'll find out how true this is:

And in the process of digging that up, I stumbled upon these early gems:

What say ye, Thoth? Who would you prefer to kill first? (October 29th, 2012, 14:43)Commodore Wrote: Plako - Louis XIV of the Aztec

He's always attacked, but unless it's the unholy Ancient Era Terror that is Ceiliazul, he always thrives despite that. Aztecs are nice, but nothing pivotal.

I am of the tinfoil hat theory that Catwalk is in fact the greatest troll persona ever created, for nobody could truly be that retarded in his ideas. Slow is unfortunately someone who kinda goes with the flow, which means I expect massive, massive amounts of failure from this team. I dislike the RBmod Sury quite a bit, but he has his advantages, and France is still France. I hope so very badly to be near them...delicious.

And look... all the sudden you're right next door!
I'd be interested in an updated ranking, if you've got the gumption.

Big move! Gathering 4830 beakers with no help from pre-req bonuses would have been quite an effort..
