WW24: The Ashes of Brigdarrow: VILLAGE WINS

I disagree about Matt I actual thought his post could go either way:

Still have a min of 3 vanilla town (MM + any 5 of CDDVBB), and a max of 10 vanilla town (TTTTTTT).
Yeah, nothing useful so far from pure meta.

Azza for the self vote. The claim of something known to not be in the game is a null tell, and while the self vote is also probably a null tell, it's stupid enough to be worth a policy lynch if maintained.

This is in the vein of what Matt would do right? Only it seems like only a small taste of the lengths Matt has gone to in the past. It makes me think its possible he's just doing it to win townie points. Of course he may have just decided that there wasn't anything to really mathematically analyze, but then why post this at all?

Azza

The mistake and "doh" moment. Could go either way.

My point is that i don't think this makes Matt very townie at all. In fact I lean more towards scum than town on him.

And FYI I readily admit that when I didn't get Zak's original alphabet list it was mostly because I'd just finished a long day of work, and I was basically a zombie.

And to be honest I absolutely don't like it that 4 usual hunters sit happily on a flimsy case since hours on day 1 without looking anywhere else. From those I can understand Lewwyn a bit but novice, Ichabod - are you really happy with that?

At least you two are usually abit more active. I would really love some more opinion on Gazglum because I don't like his posts so far. They don't feel right for me.

I agree that Gazglum hasn't delivered so far. (Welcome to the world of unreasonable expectations, Gazglum. smile)

I'm still reluctant to move my vote because I don't really think that Brick has done anything to "earn" it, either.

If I had Zaphod's double-voting ability from the previous game I would probably put my second vote on Gazglum.
If you know what I mean.

I do agree that he's off. But really the "off" for me is just a lack of longer posts and a bit more quiet than usual. Is this a scum tell? I'm not sure. He could simply be being a bit quiet on Day 1. Does it make me nervous that he's voting for Brick. A little. Do I still think Brick is scummy. Absolutely.

Ah well, if I've got to be mislynched for something, I guess it's nice if it's for failing to live up to these unreasonable expectations I've earned. :P A superwolf, Zak? You flatter me!

I agree with Rowain that it's too early for everyone to park on Brick, and I'm glad we're looking for alternatives. Obviosuly would prefer it not to be me. I think the Brick case is weak, but so far I've really got nothing else. I flipped my vote to Brick because it was languishing as a pressure vote on Novice, and Novice answered my question. So I had to move it somewhere, and since I was now pressuring Brick it seemed only gentlemanly to make it official.

Zak, this list reads to me pretty much like "players who have contributed, in order from most to least", barring me who you have helpfully put higher. Serdoa and Lewwyn have been trying to make cases, and I don't think that's scummy. Agree with Novice that it's dumb to give Jkaen, Mattimeo, and Tasunke passes just because they are in character quiet. I feel like you're overthinking the situation because there's not enough info yet.

Not that I think the quiet ones have been scummy either. I think Brick is the best of a bad lot of cases at the moment. SOme people have mentioned that Ichabod is acting out of character. He's certainly different from Morte, but Morte was roleplaying. Is he out of character with his pre-Morte games?

Wasn't Azza just doing exactly what you said a town player should do? Put together specific thoughts on somebody?
I don't see an issue in differentiating between "putting together specific thoughts on someone" and "putting minimum thought into several people." In fact, I was getting set to question Azza on why he happened to pick those three specific people to give minimum sound-bites on 'til someone pointed out that it was the people voting him at the time.

And because hypocrisy is fun, Tasunke for still not having shown up.
