[SPOILERS]The Tyrant realizes that once the world burns it gets really boring....

T28 - No time for a report, just photos for now.

Sisu has copper connected at his capital. We need to move the scout as a sentry in between us. Next turn move scout NE/NE onto the hill to get a view of the city center. I should have done that this turn but I was in a hurry and overlooked it at first.

BEAR!!!

Demos - no time to read these now but someone is still size one and, I must conclude, hates winning.

Late for work? Plays 2 pitboss turns anyway and writes half a report. #DEDICATION

Haven't lost it yet. I'm not sure I've seen anyone win the game in 25t short of pulling a Mortius. I'm thinking this punchy question is in response to Xenu's scoffing at the still-size-one team with the very late food improvement. Which brings me to...

Yeah, stop running down the competition until we manage to do anything noteworthy. smile

There are a few good reasons that a team could still be size one and/or not working high yield food. A worker/worker or worker/settler opening for one. Since we have graphs on Sisu, that's my vote for the size 1 city. And, since Sisu has BW and has mined the bronze resource, those early worker turns had to go somewhere (chop). So, if you disparage the competition, it's bound to end up with axes in our face right around when we complete Stonehenge. But, Sisu is IND/FIN (right? I'm not in game) and has lots of rivers. I'd be aiming for cottages for those river tiles rather than a rush. But, this being a greens game, best logic probably won't always be followed in the strictest sense, so a sentry is a good idea. With 14 tiles between capitals, we will have plenty of time to see a power spike before being too worried, so keep to the plan we've set. But, most likely, worker/settler/worker from Sisu, then onward and upward.

Also, Oxy has a size 2 capital, in case you're keeping track. Victory condition screen.

Worker/settler/worker is begging your neighbor to come smash your face in. Once we get the horses hooked up I'll feel better about wandering our warrior further south. As long as the bear doesn't eat him.

Two things: We do have other neighbors, so don't get crazy with the home defense, and he still has copper hooked up. Not sure how going worker/settler/worker (or, W/W/S) + having BW AND bronze hooked up makes you an easy target when it's 14 tiles between capitals. It may be worth a look with a chariot at some point, coming in on a diagonal, to see if we can do any damage, but I don't think that this is a giveaway, dead easy target just yet.

Well yeah, surely not since they're Russia, so Hunting start. Hunting + copper = spearmen. So if we show up with chariots we'd have to zoom in completely unseen to wreck them this early. My point was they haven't built any units yet this far into the game and when barbs start wandering around carrying clubs any time now, they're probably going to want to start doing that. I guess that's the point of everyone starting with a scout, though, everyone can farm away a bit longer. Perhaps we were inefficient spending a few turns building our own warrior but I don't like to play that close to the edge if I don't have to.

I forgot that everyone had a scout start, else I would have sent the warrior out scouting just a bit.

We're at the point now where barb humans can spawn though, right? So it's a moot point now, need him for home defense anyway.
