WW24: The Ashes of Brigdarrow: VILLAGE WINS

Hence you have to get into the position where there is just enough suspicion that you can argue the scum are waiting for you to hang, and not enough suspicion that you do actually hang.

And you don't think I'd accrue enough suspicion naturally as a wolf to get into that position? You think I'd actively seek out more suspicion? That is a delusional argument.

And yes, it's 7 rolls of the dice, and you'd roll a T, not "vanilla".

Do you think Brick is a wolf, too, Jkaen? Because if not, then someone else who had at least 1 vote most likely is. So I'd be taking a substantial risk just by moving my vote off Brick. Not only would I risk catching heat for the late move, but it could all backfire into a scumbuddy getting lynched.

The parallels between this game and WW17 are uncanny.

A T does not directly correspond with a vanilla town, though. There is no change in the number of vanilla town between VT and VV, for instance. And a roll of TTVV will actually have *less* vanilla town than a roll of TTTV.

A roll of T is linked to a general decrease in both town and scum ability. It does *not* directly correspond to an extra villager, though there is a general trend of the numbers of vanilla town increasing with more Ts rolled.

T is (according to the wiki linked in the setup-thread) a plain simple townie. V is a vigilante.

That doesn't sound right.

What set up are we using? Do we have enough knowledge from that to narrow down what roles may be left and how many scum we're hunting?

What what?? Azza now claims to not know how the game was setup when he first claimed miller and told us that that was a clear joke?

Have to think about that abit more but as istant reaction of that slip Azza

I have no idea what zak and mattimeo are driving at here.

There are a potential of 7 power roles in this game, so I make a post to see what we have learned, and hence if we can guess what roles we may or may not have.

I then deduced that we must have rolled a T (which is a bloody vanilla villager, I dont see how you can say the person allocated the T is anything else). Hence that is 1 less potential power role in play.

I dont see why that idea was so hard to grasp

Why don't you read the wiki page and get back to us, Jkaen.

Then we can see who has a hard time getting a grasp on things.

Or, since that isn't actually productive, read this:

"Once the town powerroles and scum roles have been determined, add a number of Vanilla Townies so that the game contains 13 players."

The number of Ts does NOT directly determine the number of vanilla townies. Get it?

Can you point at where I said I was trying to work out the total of vanilla townies?

No, trying grasping what I am actually saying then.

I WANT TO WORK OUT WHAT THE POWER ROLES MAY BE, AND HENCE WHAT THE SCUM TEAM IS, HENCE I WANT TO TRY AND ESTABLISH WHAT THE 7 ROLLS WERE!!!!

At no point have I tried to work out the total number of vanilla villagers

Azza

There's a miller? I didn't see any listed in the C9++ as possible roles...

I don't know what to make of this either. Have you been paying attention at all, Azza?

Jkaen. I said you roll a T, you don't roll "vanilla". That was the nitpick. Your phrasing "odd number of vanilla" was very easy to misunderstand.
