Gotta love this fast turn pace. Do Pitboss games always go faster than PBEMs?
Capital grows into unhappiness, but we don't give a crap because of the fact that we're whipping it so soon, and then Settler overflow will help complete a Warrior (At which point it will not grow into unhappiness when it reaches Size 4). WB has Clamed th Clams @ Sam Walton. (Plus, capital is only unhappy because it has 2T of whip unhappiness left)
That definately looks like a path.
William whipped last turn or so.
Looks like he overflowed into some military or something, possibly whipped it, but I don't think so. Will keep on the look out for opposing military units.

As I suspected, Settler can already be whipped! Don't you love being Imperailistic?
Something like 13 or 7 (I forgot if Imperialistic is halved @ overflow or not) will overflow into the Warrior with 3/15 shields in it, so the Warrior there should be done swiftly. It will be used to keep Standard Oil happy.
Scout movement. Sure looks like a path to me.
Start me on sum ROADS. Sam Walton will grow EOT. Settler for our copper city of David Buick will be done EOT. There were some light Graph changes, but because this was literally being played just before I went to bed (I just checked CivStats on the off chance it had been played...) I am a bit tired to pic them. It just looks like it is showing a loss of tiles from whipping, though, in addition to the fact they lost their Power growth I talked about last update: It may have just been population. Alternately, they had something eaten by a barb.
Not too tired to Demographics. Note the large food lead despite the whippng we have been doing and having a capital half the size of some others. Delicious.

So I log in and guess what pops up.
That is going to make settling this area more diffiannoying.
Another lion. Retep had a mid-turn score increase, which I am pretty sure can only be settling a city (Anybody mind to confirm/deny?), so I guess he has a third city. Spiritual saves turns!
David Buick has no seafood. At all. I don't see any point in even bothering to let it share seafood with the capital when getting copper on ASAP is more important if we are worried about being choked. I vote for settling on the copper. No matter where we settle, it'll be done in 2T.
For reference, another image of the settling area.
Standard Oil will finish a Warrior in 4T while Sam Walton will do so in 5T. Walton's will go to investigate WilliamLP while Standard Oil's stays behind as a happiness guard. sam Walton has also grown to Size 2 and will grow in 3T. I think founding the city means Sailing is 4t, but either way the Warrior should finish before the Lighthouse is started due to needing happiness garrison.
Also, more finished roads.
Next up: Graphs

Culture/Espionage continues to not really say anything.
Demographics. I think we'll have a good deal to say on T50 for another nice recap.

Okay, I think there must be another way to generate mid-turn score, since either Retep has 4 cities (Which I don't see how that is really possible w/o Expansive/Imperialistic even with huge forests) or his last turn score was just some kind of misplaced EOT score rise (Since it did happen at the same time as the EOT).
Either that or he really DOES have 4 cities...but probably no Worker labor for them.

All you have to do is load up a couple units in a galley and claim the free city as your own. You're researching sailing now In the time it takes you to sail around the arctic sea the Barbarians will probably build you a free worker too.

That seems like it would take a good amount of time to build the units and the Galleys to ferry them over. It would have been much easier if we just could have shipped a Galley with a Settler and defense on it or something, since we're Imperialistic.

I really don't think it's 4 cities, it's simply not possible, or not reasonable at this time, well, it's gunna be annoying to clear out the barb's out as it would have been easier to invest it into imperialistic settlers.

If he DOES have 4 cities, then he can't possibly have the Workers/infra to support it and his econ will crash hardcore.

My post was meant mostly in jest, given that the travel time for the galley would be something like 20 turns one way. At this stage of the game you might as well be trying to colonize Alpha Centauri You do raise a valid point though, that for IMP a settler costs less than a pair of axes to capture the thing. On the other hand, an IMP settler plus an axe defender still costs more ...

The city, if I read the culture right, is on the Plains Hill. That would require more than two axes.
Also, turn!
Scouted out more stuff, left Scout in best position I could to survive, hopefully it does. It's Wodsman I in a Forest, so decent odds.
Without any seafood or objections from BaII, I have the Settler ready to settle on the copper next turn. But it can move one to the left and settle same turn if we end up moving there. Workers continue to build roads. That's about it so far.
No Graph changes, have some Demos. That's really about it so far. We're basically just following our plan.
