I think we wanted to sneak in an axeman? If we get Stonehenge, the axeman build times perfectly with the connection of copper.
Here is Ruff's reply:
Quote:We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. Your culture will adapt to service ours. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own.
Is that joke wearing thin yet? Sorry about the delay. TheArchDuke (TAD) was awol at present and has just return ... and now I am awol. We can certainly steer away from collecting unnecessary early techs so there might be options down the track for tech trading.
Regarding the NAP, 100 turns is, like, forever. Based on lessons from prior pbem and pitboss games, I would like to work slowly on NAPs of that length, and, actually, NAPs in general. I am still struggling to get a lay of the land regarding the other civilizations. Not ruling a NAP out, just tabling that discussion for the moment.
I'll also have to get input from TAD.
Cheers,
Ruff

Oh, yes, axeman makes sense. That with the Borg next door and all.

Ugh, we lost Stonehenge by 1 turn. But got 97gold for 18 turns 100% research out of it!
Started roading the copper.
Since it is not connected yet, what do we want to build in BH? Do we want to start the Pyramids already? Or go for a barracks or granary before the axe and then the pyramids (with full stone bonus - which will take another 5 turns at least anyway)?
The worker at BH has not moved and could finish the chop this turn. I'd rather save the chop for full stone bonus on the Pyramids. Lets hear your thoughts Kodii.

We know that Dreylin is researching Alphabet and Broker33 is researching Monarchy. Both expressed interest in MC. What is the chance that Broker33 is building the Oracle?

We can follow that with an axeman before starting the Pyramids. I say that the worker prechop one of the riverside grassland hills and save that chop for the Pyramids.

May I ask, why were you building Stonehange?

We wanted to build something that would let BH grow. We were running a deficit and needed cash, so we decided to go for the build, fully aware that we might not get it. Plus, it was cheap. If we really wanted it, we would have gone for it a lot earlier.

One more question
I am just curious, how big is the upkeep in your second city (that near Marble)?

mh, what are your thoughts on Ruff/TAD's declaration of war on one of the teams we have yet to meet? With the big deal that was made over the move, it sounds like it's a lot more than just "Hi, can we pass through your borders?"
Whatever it is, it's sure easing my worries

Hmm, I thought it was totally un-intentionally? Just a scouting warrior maybe.
