That's why I said as long as it doesn't in any way impede the primary build. If we don't have anything better to build IND wonder fail gold isn't a bad result either.

I guess I didn't grok the full meaning but now I'm impaired, so, build 'em all!
Boldly played T61 and will put up a report tomorrow. For now, a screenshot:
Three barb warriors are wandering in our general direction. It would be great if we could kill them all with the same chariot and get up to 8 XP, take our promotion to level 4, and be free to build the heroic epic whenever we're ready to.
I've noted down the current hammer investments in Sisu's two visible cities. He has a third city somewhere. I went ahead and looked to see how many cities our known rivals have:
Suttree - 4 cities - spending lots of EPs on us (72/52 on EPs as of T61. Watch this, we're on the edge of losing graphs.)
Oxy - 3 cities - has writing (OBs available)
Azza - 3 cities
Sisu - 3 cities
You can see in the screenshot that Boldly replanned the worker movements, and since he put more thought into that I did I don't really care, it's fine. His goal was getting the corn online fast, which his plan probably does. I was just going for the straightest, quickest path to reinforce The Boathouse from ML possible, so I drew in a straight line.
Demographics look bad after we just whipped ML and HF (am I spoiling the turn report? )
It will get better. The top 5 screen is interesting, there's a bit of out of orderness about it:
Suttree is probably at the happy cap at size 6. I wonder if he has swapped off high yield food tiles and his city's overall output now lags behind whoever the size 5 top city is now? Either that or the size 5 at the top has some really awesome tiles to work.
OK, that's a half report, BGN can post about what we actually did this turn. Good to have the game back.

No point in going over all of it again, but here are a few pictures anyway since I already took them:
I thought about adventuring a bit but decided the risk of Sisu actually having something that could kill the chariot was too high, since we've known he's had bronze forever, so I went to the hill. Glad I did, too. The barb shouldn't pose much risk at all (quick sim said ~.4%), and one more win gets us to two promos here and only 3 xp shy of unlocking the Heroic Epic. We shouldn't have any problems at all doing that, as there seems to be no shortage of barbs around.
As seen here. Keep trickling in, boys, as long as you're weak ass warriors. I don't mind training units when the combat odds are good. Hopefully several teams will ignore Archery (that's what makes the Barbs turn into better units, right, when a critical mass of teams have researched the required tech?) so we don't have to fight them with all this jungle cover around. Also, more exploring on what is looking like a pretty fertile peninsula.
More exploration. I'd like to defog the island here since we're going to be settling on it soon. But, we can unfog all of the remaining tiles with our settler laden galley (everything is coastal) on the way to the stone, so it is probably best to see how close to another continent/civ this stone tile is. This LOOKS like a lot of little islands, but I haven't fog gazed/flying camera explored anything. That's more Xenu's thing. So, get to it! I'm thinking explore near the little plains island then back toward the sheep if nothing else interesting is found. We also have the mainland chariot that can defog the very southern end of fogged tiles here.
This is more my thing here, figuring stuff out and planning a bit. I haven't filled out every worker move. I was sitting in game and watching the awesome/terrible, depending on your side, 4th quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Finals last night while sorting out the best way to get the workers to road quickly to the Boathouse and also be in position to farm resource tiles when borders pop. This is the sketch I came up with. If I get a chance to update the sandbox, I'll probably fill in the details in a real plan so the turnplayer (ahem) doesn't go off the rails. Generally, once we get to jungle tiles, leapfrog with roads. Simple enough.
And, lastly, since this is our first multi-pop, multi-whip turn of the game, I spliced a before/after of the demos to see how much the whips moved us. No real problem either way, as the granaries are certainly the best thing we can do for our civ right now, and the timing was very good. They'll regrow quickly. I've dumped the overflow from both cities into workers for now, lacking anything stellar to put it toward. And, we need workers, so there you have it. I think after T62 I'll let Mr. Love swap builds and regrow since it only needs another turn to do so, then finish the worker. TBD.
Food. Also, kind of cut off toward the bottom, the landmass to the southwest is the same one our cities occupy. Good to know that's just a long jutting bay.
We'll finish a new worker next turn at 60/60. Nice. Then quick regrowth in preparation of slaving another settler for our islands.
We'll dump the granary overflow into the worker this turn then swap to something else next turn and grow to size 3, then go back and finish the worker. It's 5t either way, may as well grow first and get a turn of production into something else.
Bring it on, boys. Brick Hur took four hits defending a barb last turn. I wanted to continue exploring, so I did, found this guy, then promoted combat1/melee to survive this next one. I didn't check odds but we ought to be just fine.
As requested, the known world. Note: I suck at flying camera shots and I don't stitch together pics either. XENU!!! Do some work! Make the thread pretty!
What exactly was that overview map supposed to show? And that isn't a lot of signs. Have I shown my world map in PB8 lately? I don't think I have. I'm contributing to the PB8 game save taking forever to download, I'll just say that. If other players put up as many signs as I do, that save file will be bloated with text.

I received a request for our knowledge of the world, so there it is, with signs. I know you can stitch multiple shots together, I just haven't done it before and didn't have time this morning to play with it. The lurkers surely know more of the world than we do, they can just look at this chunk and then refer back to the map thread to see how close we came to finding (but didn't) our own flood plain triple gold bonanza site.

To my knowledge the map was never revealed in the lurker thread. I'm too lazy to click back and forth between threads to try and piece together the world so except for fuzzy feelings of deja vu () I really only know whatever is posted in the thread I'm reading at the time.
