I'm stuck on the diplomacy screen because the game is paused. I need to make a few changes but I can't. Please don't end the turn before I can do so. Could someone co-ordinate with me and unpause the game when I get home from work (around 1800 BST this evening) and unpause it for me.

That happened to me before too, and it's very annoying. As far as I could tell there was no way to even quit civ, so I had to kill the process.

On a different note, I would like if the pauses were advertised a bit better. I am not sure how to achieve that, maybe a sticky thread? I would like to be able to tell, when a pause starts and how long it's going to take. I felt quite bad that Ruff missed a turn because of this, so it would be nice to try and avoid this in the future.

Can someone just unpause the game now, and then we'll re-pause it with 1-2 hours left? That way Ruff will have plenty of time and people can still work in game today.

If only CivStats could log pauses too.

I've logged in as Broker and unpaused it with 12 hours remaining; it'll roll over after midnight US Eastern. I can repause at the 1-2 hour mark tonight if Ruff hasn't played.

I think this thread serves fine as notice of pauses and unpauses. Sticky status might be nice. The problem comes if someone is offline completely, like Ruff and TAD were last week, and can't even come to check this thread.

I looked back at the posts and it is unclear to me how long will the game be paused. Is it until Friday night NYC time when Ruff plays his turn?
