Well, if he doesn't move more than 4 tiles away then we can use the GG from the galleon (i hope the game allows this ) and promote to nav 1 across the whole stack. If he moves the 6-mover out farther... we could get 1 frigate to 7 moves and try to sink it

Yeah, you can. But you'd lose some experience on the galleon, and you couldn't do it this turn since the GG lost all his movement loading onto the ship.

All you need is a Great General to lead this Belisarius fellow, allowing him to take Morale and regain moves!

So let's look out west:
Here goes. 32 attackers ready to hit a worthless tundra city next turn. Commodore may not have enough frigates to punch out all our ships, so there is a possibility that we can load up again next turn and raze Callum. Most likely we either go for the all out against the city here, or move if we think we can get better odds somewhere else.
The battle before we got our Great General, it was reassuring to see the RNG return to the correct state of things:
We cleaned up with another frigate and you know what that led to...
I've moved all the frigates here northward. Maybe we can catch some galleons trying to flee south. Really, the only move he has with his boats is to retreat, or they're dead. They may be dead anyway, thanks to that GG
Here's the situation:
Farewell Dominos. Your pizza was substandard, but your coastal tiles were excellent

Select non-chain pizza shops?

Absolutely use the non-chain variety.
Dominos was taken, and Commodore is advancing small stacks of rifles while keeping 8 inside the city as a garrison. That's the smart play with superior numbers. There's a chance we'll be able to use our settler to buy time for our cat stack to advance, but it means he gets sloppy/cocky.
In the west, there are now 8 rifles & 1 Longbow defending Songbird Cross:
Which means we have more than a 3:1 unit advantage. I think we use the surviving frigates to bombard defenses and take our shot.
Speaking of surviving frigates, the naval battles went like this:
We ended up losing 3 frigates and 3 galleons, sinking 9 frigates and 5 galleons in the process. The amount of battles Commodore won was actually about right for the odds, but the biggest downside was all our survivors are pretty well beat up, while he had a flawless win with his frigate. He's retreated the really wounded remnants of his fleet, but those three ships could still do some damage.
I think we use our surviving frigates to blast defenses at Songbird and take our shot. How many times can a CG2 Rifle win against 3 knights? Hopefully not often enough.
It's a pity he got a footing on our island - we've broken his main fleet, and absolutely have naval superiority now. In fact, I think we need to whip units like crazy and maybe we can retake Dominos? Depends how long our naval advantage holds.
And maybe most pressing of all, I have unfinished business on the high seas:
The red line shows where his 6-mover could potentially be. If he moved it diagonally SW in a straight line then it's escaped us. If he kept his galleons stacked then there's a chance
This cold has turned into full-blown sinus infection. I'll play tonight

If you HAVE to use a chain go with Marcos. But if not, go local 100% of the time.

Bertucci's is ok as well, though I'm not sure how wide spread it is
